That happens to me a lot. People start out hating me only to find me likable after getting to know me. Must be part of Saturn? I have a Cappy IC but Saturn makes a lot of Aspects to my personal planets and Asc, MC and IC. It is in the same sign as the moon, too. Maybe that's why even though I have no planets in Cap.The only one besides the moon it doesn't aspect is Mars. The only outer planet is a quincunx to Jupiter. I wish Saturn would aspect some outer planets. Too bad, lol. IP: Logged |

It's the same reason we have these problems being approached...we have that intimidating look, or at least that's the vibe I am getting from Cappy and Jessie. People have said I appear to have a chip on my shoulder and I look like I can kick some butt. It could just be I appear like I am spoiling for a fight or argument with that Aries descendant. For me it's a double edged sword. People think of it as a challenge, sometimes. I give off that "I wanna rumble" vibe. It gets so confusing because I want to argue at the same time I want them to like me and exist peacefully with them. Hatfields and McCoys must of all had Libra ascendants/afflicted Mars.

YEAH! LOL Me too. I know I come across as someone who can start a fight at the drop of a hat at work. Not that am on the defensive, but I HATE to be hit on by males at work. I've reached where I am today with lots of hard work and perseverance. I do not want to be taken for granted because am a female. It doesn't bother me at all not to be approached,actually I like it that way. I don't have to fend off males making stupid advances or people thinking they can touch me or joke with me at work. yeah I'm quite feared at work, I know I am and I like it. IP: Logged |

Yeah, same here. I do smile when it's expected of me and I'm so guilty as charged for putting on a happy face. But it's also just that I can't hide it. I laugh like crazy when talking to people. <3 My Cap moon does put a limit on it sometimes... I hope I'll get people to come to me when I smile at them. It's a pretty conscious move. Can't look mad, except for with my eyes/eyebrows. It's annoying when I want people to leave me alone, they don't! I agree on Capricorn rising or Saturn 1st house as people who won't smile when they don't want to. Capricorn and Virgo are both very about sincerity. I've known some Scorpios who do pretend to smile, mostly to adapt to the situation though or to get information out of you (one of them was really good at that 'cause he made it look funny). I'm sorry the fake smiling can make people so uncomfortable.  Or some of you being seen as mean/angry at first. Oh, Jessica, your eyes are so intense. I love it! Not mean-looking at all for me. My favorite cousin and my best friend are both Capricorn Ascendants with Leo Suns.
For those who get to meet them for the first time, it's quite the experience.
They look downright EVIL !! lol
They give off this snobbish "holier than thou" vibe that makes them so unapproachable. The kids in my neighborhood are quite terrified of my best friend.
She constantly has this " WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANNA TALK TO ME ABOUT ?? " look without even being aware of it.
She is quite infamous at our university, classmates call her " Miss Grumpy" behind her back. God only know what will happen to them if she ever finds out

I used to have the ''despite the look on my face, you are still talking to me??'' look when I was in uni.TBH it's still so easy for me to wear that look on face whenever I want to.
