I would get super annoyed if it was expected from me at work or anywhere else. I realize my standard face makes me seem unapproachable (and that's not the only intimidating thing about me), but I'd rather look very serious/sad/mean than smile when I don't feel like it.I'm a Virgo ascendant. ------------------

It doesn't feel real, it feels forced and annoying.

Aries, Virgo and maybe Scorpio and Capricorn (I'm pretty sure I've seen Scorps and Caps fake smiles though).All I know is that Air ascendants can fake smiles.. and we usually do it quite shamelessly  IP: Logged |

Of the 3 Air signs - Aquarius is the most stoic.. Libra is the most fake (lol don't look at me like that) and Gemini is very adapting so we can "adjust" to many situations.Pisces ASC always have a smile on their face! I don't know how that's even possible, haha. IP: Logged |

I'm Virgo ASC as well, i am terrible at faking smiles. I love to smile when i have something to smile for. It's kinda often that i sit and do something and just smile, i shine. Because i remember something of an importance to me, for example. But most of the time i have been told that i have this aristocratic outlook (no matter what clothes are on me at the time, lol) - just because i *look* like that. So yes - i smile when i have a reason for that. As I am an optimist, i have a reason for smiling quite often, though.  IP: Logged |

libra asc here. usually im smiling but its not fake.
some people however can think its fake and when they "call me on it" i go aries on them. ------------------

My neutral face is extremely serious - I look mean. People always judge me harshly due to my serious/scary facial expression. I have to fake smile in pictures because then I'd look like a serial killer :PVirgo Sun/Aqua Rising, but I feel more like a Cap rising due to harsh Saturn contacts to personal planets. I have Sun & Moon sextile Saturn, but I understand what you mean :P

Cappy and Scorpio. I’ve got a Scorpio asc. and I absolutely hate to fake smiles. I can also control my facial expressions very well. Saturn conjuncts my sun and mercury by less than 1 degree.IP: Logged |

As an air ascendant, I don't give fake smiles as much as possible, unless I *really* have to. I unfortunately wear my heart on my sleeve so even if I don't say anything, my facial expression speaks for itself XD
