Gemini definitely makes sense, and Pluto/Saturn interplay with his Sun, NN, and mars is interesting.------------------

Depending on the time of day, couldn't he be a Cancer? I remember thinking him very soft in the eyes when I first saw footage of him - if you made his Ascendant early Gemini, then all of his planets in the first would make sense given his deep passion for truth and general transparency. Cancer cusp sun, Scorpio moon, Year of the Pig: Water influence~ compassion for the people being spied on, abused, manipulated. (Btw Julian Assange is also a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon, Pig) Lots of Gemini--> communicating a LOT He's very Plutonian, with that sun trine Pluto-Saturn and Scorpio moon. Interesting,
year of the pig= Most honest of all the Chinese star signs. And he seems to have seen a lot at the end of his Saturn Return. I find his Saturn sextile Neptune very telling about what he did-->idealist, ready to sacrifice some of his own comfort, for the sake of the betterment of others

^ Right.And thank you for the articles, mockingbird...I loved the comment the author quoted in the Why Should We Care one  I wanted to add that Glenn Greenwald (born March 6, 1967) has Mars conjunct his south node in Scorpio, and is either a Cap or Aqua moon. Greenwald is a Sheep, Manning is a Rabbit...all these high profile whistle blowers are Chinese water signs. ETA: And Ron Paul, who is consistently supportive of the whistle blowers, is also a Pig. They say that the Western equivalent of the Pig is Scorpio, an idea that's always perplexed me...but maybe there is just more to the Pig than I ever caught on to. IP: Logged |

I wonder how he will make it through with sun trine Saturn? Maybe he will stay on the run or cut some deal? Maybe, there will be wide scale changes because of him. Plus, Saturn conjuncts Pluto. I need to add him to my "sun trine Saturn" club, heh.IP: Logged |

Jellyfish, I am not really sure how Neptune plays out for him. With Neptune there can be lies and deceit, yet, it is in opposition so it could mean these could be used by others against him. Hard to know with oppositions. IP: Logged |

You're welcome, Ami!I see bad things in the conjunction of Neptune and the south node, opposite Sun and Mars. This is a tough call. Even if he does end up in prison, the outcome for society might be lasting, for a while at least, by changing the way NSA operates, maybe the CIA as well? Less invasive tactics, perhaps? Nothing seems to last forever. He will affect a generation or two, maybe? He also has a powerful opposition, natal Mercury against Jupiter and Uranus involving domains, I believe. I don't really trust oppositions too much. They tend to show up in charts of people who experience bad fortune.
The article in the astrology magazine discussed the charts of the NSA and CIA. It was a fascinating read.
