I also have a trine to Neptune and one to Chiron (exact.)Venus makes a lot of aspects, just not conjunctions or opps. The square must be the strongest of them all.
Ahh I see, well even though you have the one hard aspect to venus, the easy aspects probably help some. What is saturn/venus like? I have capricorn on my desc but I'm sure thats not really anything like venus/saturn.

Every duad of mine I feel like makes sense. I ll least all mine soon, they're fun Oh and another note - I think my duad makes more sense than my decan for my sun
Do you think that having your duad conjunct someone elses planet is stronger than a same sign conjunction? IP: Logged |

It's a harsh aspect (literally and figuratively,) makes the social life more difficult and demanding. It's harder to have fun socializing, basically. Venus is all about doing what you love, Saturn is all about restricting stuff or showing you through others he is running the show. It's a challenge. What Saturn demands is that I react the right way by not letting others spoil my fun. When I react the wrong way, it's a hundred times worse. It's not easy with the square because it's one of those sensitivity aspects kinda like with harsh aspects from Neptune. It's kinda similar. I am more aware of certain situations in the environment that might go unnoticed by others. I get rattled, others do not. Saturn is like all the people I know who tell me I am in charge of my own reactions and it is up to me to have fun regardless, others will knock me down only if I give them permission to do so first. This rings so true with Venus Square Saturn. That's like a mantra for this aspect!

Yeah, I was quite surprised myself. It's fun to get a new layer in the chart. I do have some air by house - Uranus & Saturn in the 3rd, Sun & Mars in the 11th plus SN. Too much air is too much for me, though. I do want some strong water placements. IP: Logged |

I like all this duad talk because it's like a whole new dimension to astrology I didn't worry about before. Now I am glad I looked into it. Isn't a conjunction in the same duad simply a conjunction with a very small orb or am I missing something?

Duad conjunctions are VERY important!!! They create real, palpable connections when the actual synastry might not show it. I don't mean sign conjunction, I mean calculating the actual duad degrees and using a max 10 deg orb but the closer the better. Radix-duad works best in my experience so far. The pull is just eerie. Well it's not exactly the same thing, unless the planets were already conjunct in the same sign and duad. But having say an Aries Sun conjunct a Virgo Moon by duad.. what would be the chances otherwise? IP: Logged |

It still confuses me. Let's say a planet is in the Capricorn duad of Libra and another is in the Capricorn duad Taurus. Are they both conjunct because they are in the Capricorn duad even though the signs are completely different and far apart?IP: Logged |

They are conjunct in the duad charts system, yup. IP: Logged |

Well that's kinda cool! So that's how this works! It's another dimension to synastry. IP: Logged |

My MC is in late Gemini conjunct my Jupiter in Cancer. I wouldn't necessarily say that my reputation and/or career are especially dominant in my life (although, I do live in DC, so I suppose this is a matter of perspective, haha...), but they are certainly important, and I do devote a decent amount of time thinking about that realm. I think that might also have to do with the fact that I have Chiron in the 10th, as well, though. Lots of insecurity in this realm. I suppose this could point to a mutually reinforcing sort of situation, or it could just be redundancy. I'm not sure. I've got Cancer on the 11th (29th degree), however, and I would say that have a strong friend network is very important to me...although somewhat difficult to both attain and maintain on a regular basis.
