For your other question, hmm, I've never thought about it like that-being compelling and people wanting to hear me speak. I suppose to an extent. At work I've been told many times how pleasant it is to hear me answer the phone and when I worked fast food many years ago, the same when I was in drive thru. I'm more of a story teller on paper than verbally but I have my moments where I really get into what I'm saying and I use gestures, different voices and facial expressions and all that and I get people laughing. I like that

It's rare though that I'm so compelling that any advice I give anyone gets acted upon-heavy sigh. At least not because I said it. Now if Dr. Phil or someone like that happens to say the same thing, well, suddenly it makes sense and is worth considering. (shake my head) What are you going to do, right?

I've always felt my ASC though, ever since I was a little girl, I learned to speak fluently at a slightly-earlier-than-everage age. (Merc in 12th wasn't activated yet? i dunno, maybe it's because i speak two languages now .. :/) I'd sit outside my house in my diapers and in one of those baby tank tops and I'd strike up a conversation with anyone that passed by. It was interesting, how all these people, from different walks of life, literally, would end up in front of my house telling me their stories. Where were they going and why - I'd always ask.

Ascendant ruler is that of the chart.

I can relate well to your descriptions of wanting to hide and also the part about foreign languages. There could be a connection between Mercury in twelve and learning them. I really liked taking classes in them during college. My favorite is to write in them rather than speak because I have a natural affinity for writing.
