So what are your mercurry aspects and do you like to sing/rap? Do you write your own poems or songs or rhymes? Can you set your words to music or to a nice tune/beat? I like words right. I said this in another thread. And i noticed a lot of people claim to be good at writing too! But i'm more interested in the musical relation of words and music. Can you guys put your words to music? I'm interested in rapping/rhyming somewhat as of recently. I like playing around with sounds and sounding ridiculous with my voice. I love to sing! But i'm not great at it lol. Yet i'm still compelled to do it for some reason. Same with words and rhymes i'm not great yet compelled. Do you like singing too? Whether you're good at it or not? Why am i, or you, even drawn to words/music without really being necessarily talented? (If you feel that way.)

Sheesh that was a lot! Do the same too if you wanna or just major ones.
Interestingly enough, Mac Miller has my bday but he's 1992, and he has his merc conj the same too just in a diff order. He's a rapper, and i'm not really familiar with his stuff, but i thought it was intriguing. And also poe has my bday and he's into poems/writing and specifically he enjoyed alliteration and the way his words sounded when spoken. Idk if this all matters i just think its pretty cool  haha And it gives me hope like "well if THEY can do it then so can I! It must be in me as well" la dee dah. Also, I believe Randall and I share a birthday too haha, maybe, Randall, are you into words like this at all??? I'm really serious about this! I know i wrote a lot of hooplah, and i normally don't, But i wanna knooow! And this isn't just all about me either i wanna know about others on here who can share their interest in words and why they do and how they practice or don't and how they got into it! etc.. and all that! Various stuff-- politics, pop culture, absurd stories from dreams and nightmares, etc. I also forgot to mention that I parody pop music in my head (by making up my own lyrics set to tunes of top 40 songs.). Been doing that since my teens.

Lol that sounds cool! I've never really done that. My dad comes up with random lyrics for song tunes to be funny sometimes  He's an Aries and I read from linda i think? That aries are good at improvising. What is your sun sign? I'm a capricorn btw i forgot to say that :P

I have Mercury in Aquarius conjunct my Midheaven (which is suppose to be a great aspect for someone who likes to sing and write songs) and opposing my Mars in Leo (although some people wouldn't count it, since it's about 9 degrees). Other than that, I have no aspects when it comes to my Mercury.I LOVE to sing and write songs as well. My dream is to be in a Metal band. I also have Venus conjunct Neptune which I hear is a great aspect if you want to pursue something in the arts. And they are both in the ninth house nonetheless, which is suppose to be the house of traveling. ------------------

Venus / Neptune is great for artists, especially musicians.
So envious of people who have it!I used to write some poems and lyrics, but what I liked most was short stories.
Now I don't do anything, which kinda sucks.
Sometimes I write in a "journal", but it happens like once every 3 months  Mercury doesn't do much in my chart, but it's the ruler of my ASC, SN and Moon.

I have sag mercury conjunct cap sun/uranus in the 12th, sextile my scorpio MC. Conjunctions between venus/uranus/neptune/sun in the 12th. Cap uranus/neptune/saturn is generational so well the conjunctions are quite common I think (someone pls corrects me if I'm wrong ) asteroid Pan conjunct sun and mercury lol. I play the flute (a bit like a satyr hehe) and write poems and occasionally some short stories. But my major interests are painting and drawing though. I don't sing, I screech and scream in tune, everyone I know is scared of my “singing” voice, but I don't let that stop me muahahha I think I prefer music without the lyrics. I can feel the music more. The lyrics often just distract me. IP: Logged |

I love to write and sing but I don't write songs too often. I have a Mercury ruled sun sign and Mercury is conjunct ascendant, Jupiter, and Uranus in my chart it makes many aspects, including trines to the Moon and a sextile to Venus. It has a quintile to Mars. IP: Logged |

I like to write, well more like, I CAN write. If that makes any sense, mostly creative writing since I can add imagery and I have a poetic/romantic style of writing.
I also used to sing when I was younger, I stopped going to "music" school though :/ so that was that.Gemini ASC (conj Venus if thats relevant),
Mercury in Taurus in 12th square Neptune/Uranus
Mercury quincunx Pluto I've heard that you have to feel pain, to be able to make art, so I'd say Neptune and Pluto aspects to the inner planets? I know everyone feels pain, but yeah, I don't know how to explain, like, you have to be inspired by the pain, kind of? IP: Logged |
