Regardless of that "official" definition I posted, I agree with what you said earlier and still only think of planets that are squared or opposed as afflicted.

Beyond that, it just gets too abstract for me. And I agree that it doesn't seem that important to know. It sheds a light on why I have so much inner tension, and that's about it.

I only have one opposition in my chart between the moon and Neptune. Besides that, just Chiron has oppositions. Maybe the opposition between moon and Neptune is a singleton? I am glad there's only one and it also is supported by easy aspects.
