Question for you guys:I just noticed that my bf has those three planets as well as Neptune in the 6th, but also has moon, Mars, Saturn and Uranus in the 5th house. So, two stelliums. Which of the two do you think would be stronger or is there a kind of mitigating effect? IP: Logged |

Both will have much influence!
Pay attention to that Moon in the 5th.. we're very needy, lmao.

I like that it widely conjuncts Saturn. Makes me feel like it offsets the destabilizing effects of a moon in Sag and makes him trustworthy and reliable

I think so.It's the natural house of Leo, and you know Leos.. they crave attention, love. So us 5th house Mooners are like little children that are always looking for appreciation, attention, affection, and so on. A lot of us appear distant, shy or reserved.. especially the men. Because we don't want to appear too needy / attention-seeking and repel people.
But don't be fooled. Romance, creativity and good times are what makes us feel secure and happy (Moon).
And when you have an afflicted Moon in the 5th, all those things are denied, or at the vert least, hard to obtain.

Yes, they do for me. I have three planets in the 4th house and a whole stellium clustered around my IC, I definitely feel like a Cancer. In fact, when I saw my birth chart for the first time, I was shocked that I didn't have any personal planet in it. 2 planets in my 12th house, so I do think I have a touch of Pisces in me as well. Even more because Neptune is part of the stellium above and conjuncts every planet + the IC there. Sun, Mars & SN in the 11th give me some Aquarian traits, though I'm not sure which ones. I have a stellium in 9th so people often guess me as a Sag... >,< My mom is a virgo who has a stellium in 11th. I always thought she has Sag or Aqua influence (outgoing) but she actually has very strong neptune influence, which is why she is attracted to Pisces IP: Logged |

I am similar to sign of the house my Sun falls in. imo, looking at the house which sun falls in and houses of all major planets is very important in trying to analyze a persons personality. The houses themselves carry a certain energy which match those signs but still outweigh by what the house actually represents. (at least imo.) House energies are very imp.

Very interesting! Didn't notice this comment until now. Would a moon widely conjunct Saturn be considered "afflicted"?

I thought about this for a while and I was initialy going to post something to the contrary i.e something that says that I don't have "Scorpio" traits; even with a 4 planet stellium in the 8th house.But before doing that, I examined myself a little more. I am not afraid of the dark. I like keeping things a little mysterious. I have a very private side. I have willpower and resourcefulness. I can be very silent when I want to. I can control and direct my inner dimensions or "workings". I do like to think that I am in charge of my own destiny. I feel people intuitively. I am emotionally connected to something spiritual. I can be very intimate. I love oral sex. I enjoy having money. I am unfazed by "scandal" or people's more covert nature that society judges as "inappropriate"
Even with my Sagittarian nature, people still believe I am "holding" back and my family doesn't know all that much about my life than what I have allowed them to know.
Hmmm....am I also really Scorpionic in nature because of my house placements?

Depends on what you mean by "widely" - I wouldn't pay much attention to it if it's wider than 8°. Does the Moon receive other aspects? Saturn + Moon in hard aspect usually means insecurity at a young age and the personality is pretty much built according to that.
How the person has learnt to deal with the pain and insecurity is another thing entirely, but usually they appeam calm / controlled and mature, have their act together.
Vulnerability is a no no for these people, so don't talk about mushy stuff or start crying in front of them, they abhor emotional "weakness" (unless other factors mitigate it like flowing aspects to the Moon and well-aspected Neptune or Water placements).

Yup! Most of my planets are in the 1st & 8th definitely have some Aries & Scorpio traits in me! especially Scorpio since my Sun is in the 8th..
Also with my Moon in the first I feel like my Moon has Aries traits. IP: Logged |

I think the idea is that if you have a certain number of planets in a specific house, then you take on the "traits" of the sign associated with that house.
So, if you say that you have a stellium in the 4th house, it means that there may be some Cancerian "traits" that you have. Don't know if not having personal planets therein the stellium changes the rules of the game. But my guess is, if the stellium planets make an aspect with the personal planet(Moon or Sun) then maybe you will feel comfortable expressing those associated house "traits". Well for me, it's like even if you like someone a lot and not ready to go all the way, you can just get really good at bjs lmao. Cause in that situation, YOU TOTALLY HAVE CONTROL, for obvious reasons...Wow it's actually amazing how people really relate to the personality of their houses!
