Do you think people with a strong house influence will have strong characteristics of the sign?

I have a strong first so I guess that would make me Arian in nature.
I've actually never really thought about this.. lol
I just concentrate on the meaning of the houses.

Yeah same with me if you are talking about natural rulers of houses. People think I am Pisces. I have more in common with that sign than any of them with all those planets in 12.

I have Stellium in 11H and I am definitely Aqua infused. Especially my Sun. Sun is there in my pChart as well.

I have Sun & Moon in 6th house. I don't have any Virgo traits.
I don't really relate to those 6th house descriptions in general. I don't think that work is part of my identity or something. I don't like routines either. They bore me. I'm also kinda lazy. Funny. I have Sun & Moon aspecting Saturn AND IT'S IN 6th house so I shouldn't be.

I wonder what in chart makes one lazy. My Neptune aspects maybe? I'm so dreamy.

hmm I noticed a lot of people dislike 6th house traits, and I've seen a lot of strong 6th house people deny having any virgoan traits.

The 6th House is severely misunderstood. I explained it at length in another thread. Dang, I can't remember which one though.

Anyway I have a massive 6th House stellium and I'd definitely say I have Virgo traits. Ironically denying having Virgo or 6th House traits actually sounds pretty 6th House.

YES.

I have a strong 11th, 7th is next, 12th, then 5th. Since 5th and 11th oppose, they also share similar traits which just increases my Leo/Aquarian behavior I think. I mean, I'm already fire / air naturally (Gemini ASC, Aries) too. I'm really quirky and aloof and sensitive and prideful. I never get attached to Aries but I like people who are "mentalists" (they're not always air influenced, but it's air qualities I'm attracted to I guess.) and have a lot of wisdom (Sag DSC - 7th house.) I also hate confrontation for being an Aries. So many things. So, so many things that validate houses influencing our personality!

Ah, the cruel irony of being a Scorpio-Virgo dominant and being in love with a Gemini-Leo. But, like we're discussing in this thread, Houses definitely influence a person so there may bit some light at the end of this tunnel.

I think virgo is the most misunderstood signs in the zodiac and for some reason the most abhorred.

I actually like virgos a lot, you can always rely on them. They'll tell you the truth too. Also they appear so fragile and you want to protect them. Pisces are a lot like that too.
I have jupiter in virgo so maybe its that nice jupiter synastry.

I really like Virgos too. In fact they are the only sign in general that doesn't annoy me (or at least annoys me the least). I always have fun and feel great around them. Virgo falls on my 5th House.

I've never met another 6th House dominant in person though.

Before, I couldn't understand why people think I'm a Leo/Sag/Virgo. Now I do. I have 3 planets in the 5th (sun, pluto, mars tight conj), chart ruler sag merc in the 6th, Pisces moon in the 9th.

Based on the way I act, I know I take on some of the traits of the houses where my major planets reside.

YEEEEEES, houses have influence on the personality just as the signs do. It may seem more subtle because people look for the signs, but the influence is there too.

Instead of the Pisces Sun that I am..

I've got a Leo rising, so that influences it, but I've also got a whole mess of planets/asteroids/and my vertex in my 5H in Sagittarius.

Also, my 9H Sun, Merc and Venus I think give me some Sag personality traits. I'm very open and honest, sometimes a little blunt and I expect the same in return. I don't understand negative, pessimistic people at all. I fully believe that you get what you put into life and if you work your best you'll receive the best life has to offer.

I NEVER thought of this before. This makes a lot of sense. I have a packed 5th house with nothing but a Leo SN otherwise. I always wondered why I was so Leonine, never thought to look at the houses. Thanks!

I have a 7th house Leo buzzing with activity although am told that I come across as a leo on the net,in real life people would never guess am a leo upon first meeting.

Yes, stelliums are kind of like mini signs based on the House. I have a 9th house stellium( 4 personal planets) and I can feel Saggi like( if you take out long distance travel :grin : )

I have a strong 10th house and a strong 1st house, so it helps balance my heavily mutable chart somewhat. I already have an Aries Moon to begin with, so a lot of people guess me to be an Aries. I also get along well with Capricorns. I think it's also why I'm often attracted to fixed signs, as fixed signs really hold the least weight in my chart.
