for the one you posted, i suggest:

i know a couple with something very similar

the love of my life has venus in gemini, mars in scorpio....
yes, i can see it, and it is not only because they are quincunx, scorps and gems are the two signs that have this intense curiosity, although they approach knowledge differently...
and if there are two people who seem to like to make folks tick with words...it is def. either scorps and gems...stirring the pot, always...
i wonder if that is the reason the two signs can repel each other so badly...
whenever ive heard a scorpio complaining about a gem and vice versa, it sounds as if they are talking about themselves....

aries venus and aries mars...

i suggest:

leo/scorpio venus
or leo/scorpio/capricorn mars

or as you say, libra venus, not sure about libra mars though. i dont care much for mars opposite mars that much. it always seems to cause discomfort at the end...

i think aries goes better with leo than saggie....
and, scorpio and aries can sure get along...some times.
