Lmfao! Wow. Well okay I'll share one, it happened to my friend and her mother back when my friend was a baby...

Where I live, this old military radio base was made into an apartment building (three) and it's sort far out of town. Maybe like a kilometer or two? Any ways my friend's mother lived there at the time, and the other two tenants were in town. So she's chatting on the phone, doing her usual Libra Sun/Leo Moon thing when she hears sort of...banging. It was coming from the roof! She tells her friend to wait a moment, she hears something outside. So she looks up out a window and she hears the banging go to the other side of the building. So she walks outside and, she had the ground level apartment, she sees this tall, black figure stomping around on the roof.

She was terrified! It was big and she couldn't make any features out because the afternoon sun was behind it and it was dark any ways. When it noticed her, it leapt right over her and went sprinting into the bush. She dropped the phone and ran back inside, picked up her baby, my friend, and ran towards the road. She didn't stop until she reached town.

Coming back with people, they found huge footprints in the sand leading towards the bush.

I guess you could call it a sasquatch/bigfoot. My culture has a word for it but I forget it (maybe I'll ask my mumma). Any ways, my friend was suffering from baby pneumonia at the time and in my culture, they're really spiritual creatures, so my mum thinks it was checking up on her. Maybe even blessing her or something, because she recovered later that week.

Scary, shadow person don't really look scary, all I have been able to see until now were their eyes, rest of their body was pitch black.

Wow, interesting stuff, guys.

Creepy.. but interesting.

I know someone who's had psychic experiences, mainly psychic "attacks" - like he would hear some noise in an empty house or someone calling his name or stuff like that..

I've noticed most people who experience that kind of thing have a prominent Pluto, Scorpio or Neptune.

I had a shadow person encounter three days ago after writing a burning letter... It was like it was trying to grab hold of me and trying to get out of the other side. It stopped when I wasn't alone in the house anymore.

Once I heard an old woman screaming inside my body. I had not completely waken up from sleep when this happened. I told her to leave me alone. She told me that I would have to sacrifice someone if I wanted to get rid of her. I was so scared, I think I could have opened my eyes in that state but I just could not do it. Then I heard a sound of someone banging the door in the other room on my floor and it was gone.

I'm sorry that I don't have any quick answers to your question.

With the static and voices, I hear radio stations come through my speakers sometimes and at first it does scare me because I'm like "where are those voices coming from?" but yeah, it's just a radio station.

What are the voices in the static like? Are they too faint at all to tell if it's just another frequency chiming in or?

I didn't even address what you said about the searing pain in your head and burning in your sinuses. Hm. . . something that full blown, I would honestly go to a doctor just in case. That sounds intense!

Scientists have done research on the brain and found that a certain spot in our brain gives us thoughts that something paranormal is happening. Obviously the question is "Is the activation of this part of the brain causing delusions or is this part of the brain the cause of tapping into the other side/another dimension/the spirit world?"

Anyways, searing head pain and burning in your sinuses, that is call for a doctor visit. Have you already had an appointment addressing the issue in the past?

Can you talk more about your out of body experience, please? I find them so fascinating!

i definitely already saw a doctor. within a month of it happening regularly actually, and he gave me a clean bill of health after a scan and some tests. it's weird, because it only ever happens when something i've dreamt actually happens, or when i can tell my brain is trying to remember something that is... i dunno how to explain it. it's like i know something. i have a memory of it, even though it's not possible. and i only get glimpses... those get triggered with music, people, words, or me just being in places... and the reaction is extremely strong. that's kind of why i was interested in ghosts, because it is starting to happen everywhere now, instead of just my house. i thought maybe i was picking up on something around me. what's ever weirder are the dreams that happen are SO mundane. i dreamt that i had a full-blown conversation about a book with a co-worker. woke up and was like, wth?? i mean dreamt it down to what was in my hand when i was talking and what we were wearing/where we were in the building. i forgot about it, because it was so unimportant and bizarre, and 3 weeks later, when it started happening, i thought i was gonna pass out the feeling got so intense. and there's been at least ten other times like that. idk. i think it's less i wanna chill with ghosts, rofl, and more just know what the hell is going on x_X because at first i thought i had a brain tumor, and then maybe just crazy, but now, i really think something weird is going on.

the voices just sound far and away, so naturally, because i studied film and radio, i thought it was just bleed through from signals. but it was annoying. like whispering. sometimes i could make out male or female. i'd change the channel... it'd happen there eventually. then it started doing it on my computer. pandora or streaming internet radio. if i wear headphones, underneath the song, i can hear voice(s) talking, and it sounds very direct. not all the time, but enough that it's getting really old/curiosity is killing me. i mean, it probably is nothing. i'm the first to be like SCIENCE EXISTS FOR A REASON - THE WORLD IS EXPLAINABLE... but also... i just know it isn't?

i'll write about the out of body next, because it takes a bit of time, and i don't wanna make the world's longest post when i'm a newbie to this section of the forum :P

I've had two in my life. The first one was short, but left a mark when I was young, around 9 or 10. I was/am a music fanatic, especially string compositions. There was one piece that spoke to me, and I would listen to it everyday for HOURS (I also grew up really poor in rural Alabama, rofl, so what else was I gonna do???) That music became part of me. So one night when I put it on, as is typical of the brain with memorization, I heard the music before it played. But this time was weird, because I just kept doing it. I didn't wait to catch up to the music... and then I just surrendered to the sounds, and I **** you not, I felt myself start to go out of my body.I had been sitting cross-legged, and I honest to God could feel myself going out through my back. Even my perception got "dark" and started to adjust to my new POV. I jumped up out of my bed and could not stop shaking. It was intense.

The main one happened when I was a senior in college. I lived alone and hadn't thought of the paranormal in years. I wasn't focused on anything other than the five 400 level courses I was taking. My grandfather had past away a year before, and my father (who is a religious zealot who, at that point, I hadn't talk to in 5 years) had sworn my grandfather had gone to Hell because he was an atheist. Now, I loved my grampa, but I wasn't particularly close to him. We had our moments, but we weren't Laurel and Hardy. Still, what my father had said bothered me. He's a ******* who uses religion for his own gain, but I was also raised strict Southern Baptist. While I overthrew that oppressive yoke, some things still nag at you, even if you don't believe them anymore...

So one random night, I go to bed like normal. I'm an extremely vivid and aware dreamer, and I remember most of my dreams, and things seemed to be going fine. But I will never forget what happened as long as I live: I started dreaming about a high school trip I took with my journalism class. We went to New York, flew into La Guardia. I knew it was a dream. I talked to people, we were laughing and standing in front of an Arrival/Departure board. Then I turned around, and suddenly I was in Grand Central. Normally when things switch in a dream, I'm like, "Okay that was weird." But not this time. I felt warm and wonderful. I mean like you just took two Vicodin and are lying out by the pool wonderful. Then, slowly, as if I were on an automated walkway, I started floating around a corner in Grand Central. By then, almost everything had disappeared into a haze of purple and pink cotton candy type clouds (super fluffy), and beautiful stars and gold dust. (In context, I also love astronomy and space, and there are a few pictures that I have looked at in my life and thought, "That has to be where Heaven is, because I've never see anything more beautiful.") I'm rounding the corner, now totally aware that I am floating IN space... but in the middle of the area is a huge white marble staircase. I mean massive. I still feel light, more calm and peaceful than I have in years, and at the top of the staircase, leaning against the balustrade, was my grandfather as I most remember him. Old, but in his favorite checkered shirt and glasses. He looked so perfect. So healthy and happy and just... glowing. He smiled at me, and his face filled with so much love and serenity, and he just said, "Hi, Becca..."

And I woke up out of a dead sleep. I was drenched in cold sweat, I was in the middle of a panic attack, I had (tmi) wet myself, and I was trembling so much that I could barely get the lamp on. I knew, just KNEW... not "oh, maybe," or "hey what the hell was that..." I knew I had been somewhere I wasn't supposed to be able to go. It was the first thought I had. It was 3:21am, and I stayed up for the rest of the night crying on my couch. And I should say I'm not a chicken. I'm kinda brassy in the ball department, but that... and I think that's why I'm hesitant with the paranormal, because my experiences seem to be all or nothing.

Any, it was so powerful and severe that I cried and begged the Big Man to never let it happen again, but... I also think it was my grandfather showing me I didn't have to worry about his soul. But I know it wasn't a dream. It wasn't just what I ate or my brain being funky. I mean, I felt the warmth and the sounds. I heard his footsteps when he stood. It was... yeah.

So anyway, that's my crazy fruit loop story

Second one is pretty scary, do you have any 8th house placements?

I wouldn't call these an explanation, exactly. But they're a good place to start. I inherited a fairly large library of vintage paranormal/occult books when my grandmother died. I'll dig around some this afternoon to see what else I can come up with on the subject.

(P.S. I loathe UBB code)

No, not really. I have Aquarius in the 8th, which I guess is why I'm so interested in spirituality and the occult studies, but meh. I read somewhere Sun trine Uranus can heighten your intuitive and perceptive abilities, and the Neptune Sextile Pluto can give you precognitive dreams, both of which I have. Almost everyone alive today has Neptune Sextile Pluto, so that's not saying much. But apparently my Jupiter in Pisces in the 9th house adds to intuition and some "prophetic" abilities that can be strengthened. But, rofl, I don't know about all that...
