Has this placement denied you siblings?

Saturn afflicted in your chart? Any other 3rd house issues?

The two people I have in mind who have Saturn in the 3rd both have a sibling.

What I notice is that people with that placement often have a hard time communicating properly, at least when they're young.
They can be either very shy, have speech impediments, an incorrect way of speaking or writing, bad grammar and so on.

They can be quite smart but often come across "dumber" than they actually are.

Have this in my natal, it sucks because people dont understand what I am trying say. Lots of mix ups and miscommuncations. Being unable to get your point across, and being unheard by others...thats my experience with this placement. As far as siblings I have an older sister, talk to her from time to time. But I have Sun conjunction Pluto though, welcome to being seen and not heard lol.

I have Saturn in h3, it's conjunct the IC, so I guess translated as in both houses.

Yes I was denied siblings.

Actually yeah.. I've been told I have 3 half sisters, but I've never met them.
I also never met my father.
I spoke to him a few times over the phone over 15yrs ago, but never met.

I was denied siblings, and a father.

I have a mother, but she's flaky and I haven't had hardly any contact with her since I was 20..
In 20 yrs she has only seen myself and my kids 2x.

How coincidental (or not), my father died when I was young and I hardly see or speak to my mother.

Saturn on the IC (or MC, or 12th house) is often found in charts of people whose fathers were absent in some way, sometimes due to death.

My dad was a traveling salesman in the 70's

He's has all girls all across the United States.. Lol

No telling how many more will pop up.

He didn't know about me, until I was 25. I found him. And contacted him. But we never met.
After a few months he moved or changed his number.. Idk..
I never looked again.

Saturn in the 3th here. One sister, a Capricorn. We love each other a lot. She used to take care of me when we were kids.

I don't have problem communicating but then again I have the Moon here as well.

I honestly don't like small talk. This is something I can't do no matter how much i force myself into it. It just comes out too weird from my mouth.

The only other issue I can't get ahold of is the tendency to hold grudges. I can hold a grudge for years, even decades.

Same here. Rx as well and conjunct the IC from 3rd house side. I'm an only child and always felt a little alone without a brother or sister. I'd clam up often, I still stutter when things come at me from out of nowhere and anxiety about what to say to people has been a major part of my life. Sometimes I literally don't hear things (Saturn rules the sense of hearing, if I remember correctly?) and not because I'm not paying attention.

Aside from the sibling, I relate to everything you said here. Sorry you're having so much trouble with this. It's not easy at all. Do you have this problem sometimes where you think about what to say forever and then don't do it anyway? Being unheard, yeah, I know the feeling. It's like you're literally invisible (at least when you speak up). Pluto sounds like it'd only intensify all of that.

With this placement, do any of you have your Saturn square the Ascendant?

^^Yes thats exactly how I feel, I am glad someone understands! Sometimes when I am with a group of people from work or function I will try to speak up about something and all of a sudden someone else starts talking right over me! And then people have the nerve to ask me 'oh why are you so quiet' lol. There are many occasions when I would mull over what to say only to find myself not saying it because I worry about how it would sound if I said it outloud. With my Saturn I dont have it aspecting the ASC, but it is unaspected with its energy more at work alone.

Yes Saturn squares my asc.

Yes I feel ignored a lot or no one seems to understand anything I say.
I must speak another language.. Lol

What bugs me is when I make a suggestion, and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy... Then 5 mins later someone else says the exact same thing.. Every one seems to think its the best idea ever...
Euhhh... I hate that..

I can relate to coming off as dumber than I am, though I may be dumb and not even know it, lol.

But sometimes my way of communicating or things I might say rub many people the wrong way, regardless of my intentions. I do say offensive things without thinking at times, and I am working on that. Mercury is opposed Saturn in my natal chart. Other times I will cease to say anything, even something that might help me or the right thing in general because I don't trust myself.

My sister is viewed as more intelligent than I am, and more successful. She runs the family, despite being the youngest. Neptune is transitting the 3rd house of my natal chart. Things are very shaky between us...

Ok another question...

What aspects does Saturn make? (hard asp to pluto)

Which house does it rule?

What aspects does your 3rd HR make?

and do you have other planets in 3rd?

I have this placement and this is what I make of it. It's Retrograde, however.

1. I often feel more 'stupid' than I actually am. Call myself stupid a lot no matter how well I do academically. Saturn also trines my Mercury.
2. Low self-esteem and confidence about self, especially when speaking at times, I used to dislike public speaking and I still feel awkward when giving speeches even though my voice is eloquent and powerful...
3. I often ramble and make too much small talk to compensate for this placement. But beyond the BS I am a deep, sage person of few words and highly interested in philosophy.
4. Also, another only child here with this placement!

i like this forum for the crazy and interesting topic going on but the lot of member appears so single-minded...

i am ok with saturn in the 3rd can slow the mind process so much taht you have hard time to expose your ideas, but this is propbably the bad aspected 3rd saturn you are reading.

A well apsected good saturn in t he 3rd probably give a slow elocution but clear, deeply meaningful word, knowing how to build great sentences, great concision style, very calculated choice of words, the less words but they know how to pick up the good ones, they are rigorous thinker, deep impact on listener, they don't manipulate shallow ideas, always deep thinking process etc....

hum well, even with this great qualities i prefer my uranus in the third in scorpio, since i have all this qualities but i am blabering my divine flow in your face in a blazing speed way you have to take time after to recover from my Genius. beauty of uranus in the third!

I have saturn conjunct my MC and I can relate to what you say.

My father was in the military and loved it, so he spent more time at work than at home. I mean, more than his position and rank usually required him to, and he died in 2005 when I was 17-18.

I'm a bit shy, and had to go to speech therapist when I was a kid because I couldn't pronounce a letter.

I do come across "dumber" because sometimes I'm shy to express my opinion, also I joke a lot and enjoy not having a very serious conversation.
But I love seeing the shock on people's faces when they find out I have a Post-Graduate degree

I thought it was my Sag Moon, but could be Saturn in 3rd House.

Saturn conj Pluto
Saturn sextile Neptune
Saturn square Mars
