I am searching to find some info on Yods in synastry and the Composite, and I found some pretty interesting stuff. It seems that the inconjunct aspect itself is notoriously annoying yet when found in a Yod configuration, the energy seems to flow easily in circuit type of exchange.Here is what one astrologer has to say abnout Yods in Composite charts. very intense! She gave examples with Paul Newman and Joan W. Composite, as well as Brangelina's Composite. "the couple with a Yod in the composite chart have to be together, whether it seems like a good idea or not. The feelings for the individuals in this relationship configuration are frighteningly intense, highly charged sexually, obsessive in the desire to seek each other out and many times fly against all sense or reason. Many times one or both of the pair has to make painful choices. One or both may be panicked by the intensity of their feelings and either try to deny the pull or try to leave the relationship. I'm still searching the net for info on Composite Yod. Seems quite a rare formation in the Composites and the two people feel like they must be together at any cost. Apparently Prince Charles and Camilla have a Composite Yod, along with Angelina and Brad, Prince William and Kate, Joan and Paul Newman... IP: Logged |

I have a Yod in a progressed composite. Everything described above fits the situation exactly! The composite also has a fire grand trine kite. In my Yod case the two sextile planets are jupiter in Gemini sextile mercury in Aries. The apex planet is mars in scorpio. IP: Logged |

Oops..double post.
I have a Yod in a progressed composite. Everything described above fits the situation exactly! The composite also has a fire grand trine kite.

what house does the Mars rule?Thanks for reminding me to check my progressed Composite for a Yod. How have i forgotten to do that so far !!?From the sparse info i managed to find, seems like a relationship with a Yod in the composite is pretty much unavoidable.
The most important point of this configuration is the appex planet since both inconjunctions shoot their energy to it. Look for the house it is located and the house it rules. Magi astrology calls the Yod a Dragon, and if it involves sexual planets - a sexual Dragon which makes two ppl insatiable for each other. Turned out Bill Clinton and Monica also had a Composite Yod.

^^^^mmmm..your Yod is a sexual Dragon. I can undestand the mad attraction.Yod in synastry and Composite is described as being very fated, an unfinished business, a perpetual pull, on and off relationship which seems to just never be done. another celebrity couple with a Composite Yod is Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacoll. Seems like the ppl involved with yods either had an irresistible secret love/lust affair and/or left their marriage to be with the other person. The pull is that strong. Paul Newman/Joan - left their previous marriage to be with each other.
Brad Pitt left his marriage to be with Angelina
Prince Charles and Camilla....30 years of longing for one another until they finally got together

I have been looking for information on the Yod for composites too, but haven't come across very much info either.I've read that in order for one to be a "true" Yod, the apex planet needs to be the fastest-moving of the three. IP: Logged |

We have 3 yods with close orbs: his mars-his venus-my mars (apex); his mars-his uranus- my Mercury (apex); my mars-my mercury-his mars (apex). He is taken as well, so ma cherie cant do anything. IP: Logged |

I'm almost positive our apex mars in scorpio rules the 2nd house. Given mars rules Aries, it just so happens our mercury is in Aries and is part of the Yod base. Aries rules the composite 7th.

I was curious. I checked for yods in a composite with someone.I wasn't surprised to find one lol.But am not sure it's REALLY one because one point is the ASC. mercury is at the apex,inconjunct Jupiter and ASC. Jupiter sextile ASC. On the other hand, I noticed we have mars at the apex semisextile neptune and pluto.Neptune sextile pluto. I don't know what's this about. yes, ASC counts in major configurations. Mercury and Jupier are quite impersonal planets but still, they make a Yod. I suspect a platonic kind of attraction, something on a mental level. Intelect being what turns each of you on. Look at the houses ruled by Mercury and see what issues are brought to the surface. IP: Logged |

It does seem fated.I had 2 yods in a progressed composite with the same person.At different periods.But there isn't one anymore. Since it disappeared,we haven't had much contact and it's safe to say it's over.IP: Logged |

It means the whole energy of the relationship ( not you two, but the entity) will be concentrated towards the DSC matters, i.e. relating to each other and to others. Mars may bring sone heated arguments.
The sextilles at the bottom of the Yod had locked the apex a hostage and the two inconjunction lines are supplying the apex with energy, forcing the native to accept the challange and work it out.
For example - Camilla and Prince Charles YOD's apex was the MC, and you know how their relationship evolved - constantly in the public eye, yet, unwavering by the public opinion.
