It's all they are doing. There's no excuse for it, even though they will try to convince you "it's for your own good," or, "I am only trying to help you!" If they get too harsh, it's time to just tune them out someway because they are not helping at all. Ironically, the opposite occurs.

Besides, Pisces is a sign notorious for not liking direct criticism. It's much better to befriend, humor and use the power of suggestion with Pisces.

my mom is a virgo sun with gem moon.
she just does not understand my aries sun and pisces moon.

she always tries to analyze and pin me down, and her virgo doesnt get when i can just easily feel things out. and my aries-ness expects her to just take what i say at face value without analytical pretense.

she just wont ever understand me, thats ok, but it leads to lots of conflicts over the stupidest LITTLE THINGS. its rough.

Like I said, with my mom...I just had to learn to tune her off..walk away..

Now that she is old and I am her bestfriend...

(my brother and his wife he a Gem, her a Pisces) have to tune her out and dont reply to her constant texts.

And they have advised me to do so, but my silly Fish butt just cant do that..

I am going to ponder on the thing you mentioned about it doesnt work with Pisces..

I agree, what does work with us!

But how to get the mother and the whatever-he-is Virgo man to reaize this I dont know...probably wont ever.

Funny, I will express a true concern to the Virgo man, and I do it as black and white as I can, but HE sees it as manipulation and says "that doesnt work with me."

huh?

I tell him....I'm not trying to get anything to "work" with him, just trying to express myself!

geezzzzz

Taking a day off of getting this house on the market to reflect on a few things and rest.

Virgo mom says "you are running out of time...summer is about to end!"

I tell her, get off my rear...IF I were to pressure myself like that, I will surely die...

Geezzzz, mom...we are in San Antonio, things are booming, this is a military town and first and formost...(this is where the Pisces dreams come into play) I have a very, very spiritual base and I believe all things will happen when they will happen...

YES!

A GOOD day!!!

blessins to ya'all!

My mom used to yell at me from her car when she came over to my house and I found it sorta degrading. She was totally in the habit of doing this on a regular basis, so all the neighbors could hear her, it was her little show. One day while she yelled I just shut the front door while she was in the middle of it. She stopped after that. I tried explaining to her before, nicely, I don't like it, had absolutely ZERO affect. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do

All of the drama (e.g. "someone close this thread before I shoot my computer") & back/forth blame game in this thread is EXACTLY why Pisces and Virgo do not interact well.

Virgo being critical and based in reality is not something Pisces can grasp. We're serious, not day dreamers. *shrugs*

I'm not saying one is better than the other or vice/versa. We just don't mix because we are too opposite.

I recently made a new friend and she has a Pisces moon. I am treading very carefully because I like her, but I am seriously holding my breath practically waiting for the **** to hit the fan.

When I read that, I thought it was funny. I didn't think she was totally serious, maybe just a little. You mean to tell me you haven't had an instance when you were annoyed and you said something similar?

Do other Virgo suns have senses of humor at all?

Don't forget the martyr complex and the paranoia...

I will say, Pisces' unrealistic paranoia about other peoples' intentions confuses me every time. 90 percent of the time nothing bad actually happens to them. And then when something bad actually DOES happen, you never hear the end of how victimized they've been.

I do have a couple of close Pisces friends, and we get along in spite of our differences, partially because all parties are willing to learn and grow from each other and also because we genuinely care about each other. I don't know that I'd ever willingly date a Pisces, but that's more of a preference thing on my part (they are usually too wishy washy for me). I actually think that opposing (and squared) signs have a lot to teach each other, but only if you are open enough to listen and receive without generalizing. Everyone on this thread pretty much sounds like they are closed to listening and receiving, so though the OP's intent was to discuss the relational dynamics between Pisces and Virgo, it just sounds like it's turned into a b*tch fest. Why am I not surprised?

a bunch of my very close friends have moons in virgo and it works. the only time they get on my nerves is when they get nervous; when they get nervous they try to micro manage, and thats when we ever have problems. they only have problems with me is when i get emotionally deep with them.
so i guess my advice with you is to not be afraid to be open to their emotions, and dont try to control them. i swear, us pisces mooners have a method to our madness.

Wow. This thread made me realize my chart is very balanced... I think I get along with everyone either well or at least ok is because I have something going on in every sign but 2 lol.

I love Pisces and I've never ran into any that I have had an issue with. Sometimes their outlook can be rather refreshing. <3

I love Virgos...ok I may be biased tho so I'll leave it at that haha.

All in all tho, I think that the opposite sign helps us become aware of opposite qualities we may lack and instead of being overly critical or complaining that the other doesn't understand. Virgos- we can learn to become a little more accepting/less critical of ourself and others from Pisces and remember the big picture and the vision instead of the little goals. I'm sure Pisces can learn from virgo to turn parts of their dream world into a reality and remember those little important details that may get lost in that dream of theirs.

Incorrect on all comments.

I continually redirect to the issue of Virgo and Pisces.

I martyr myself not, toooooo much Aqua in me for that crap. And it is usually not Pisces suns that have your "martyr complex" but the Risings and the Moons, I have seen this in.

Paranoia? Nope, again....there is nothing paranoid when somebody (Two Virgos in my case) are telling me straight to my face, basically I am a piece of **** , dont know what I am doing and their way is the correct way.

Now what is paranoid about that?

"Too opposite"

Exactly what does that mean..are there extreams to opposites?

I thought opposite was just opposite.

I dont see it as opposite, but complimentary or can be.

Did you not read everything I posted yesterday or just choose to read what you want?

Have you studied, have you gone into depth of the symbolism, the elements the modalities or are you just making your statements offhanded?

"drama" yea I have heard that one before..cop out of a word.

Complimentary.

Exactly.

Cant completely run from my mom, choose to let the dude to continue to be part of my life albeit 1200 miles away..

Both of them had me in stitches this morning in laughter....with their funny Virgo stories.

I notice that they are so parallel in mood. Way different charts, way different in age so perhaps it is me?

Again, a study of the Virgo/Pisces pairing.

When it is good its good when its bad...well....

I'm a Virgo, and all the Pisces people I've encountered have been highly irrational and emotional. They have a difficult time arguing calmly and coherently; they just resort to screaming when you stump them with relevant points. However, I haven't met enough Pisces to be able to say that most Pisces are generally that way.
I don't like to spend time escaping into a fantasy in my head; I think spending a large part of the day dreaming is a waste of time. I'd rather face the real world and adjust to it because, no matter what, everyone has to at some point, and it's no use being in denial about it and escaping into fantasyland.

My mom has lots of Virgo planets including moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury and she yelled all the time. She has mellowed some, I'll give you that, mostly because I leave when she starts it. That's the only thing that ever got her to stop. Asking her to please not yell only made her yell more loudly. There was a time a day didn't go by she ranted and raved about something.

Well, my cns is too sensitive, I cannot handle being yelled at. It overloads my senses so I feel like I am shutting down. Luckily, she doesn't do it much anymore.

*headslap*

I give up. Have I gone into depth on the symbolism, elements, etc? No. Not my thing.

Drama is not a cop out of a word. If you've heard it before, maybe it follows you or you create it? Ever think of that?

Thank you and welcome!

Ya know, I have never thought about how hard it would for a Virgo sun to have Pisces incoroprated into the chart as a personal planet such as the Moon....

My best friend... Actually, I know 5 people with this configuration.

Pisces Sun/Aries Moon.

Me:
Virgo Sun/Sag Moon.

I can really be myself around her.

We can be so random around each other and be Ok.

She seems to be super strong and I love to point out every weakness and see her squirm.... lol!

But then I hug her and say that she is super awesome like that.

P.S. Luv my sweet train wreck.
