So here's all the significant *I hope* placements: Seventh House on the Sagittarius cusp Capricorn Mars in Seventh house, 13 degrees Eleventh House on the Aries cusp Aries Jupiter in Eleventh house, 28 degrees Taurus Saturn in Eleventh house, 13 degrees My Saturn and Mars are exactly trine, and my Jupiter and Ascendant ( 28 degrees Gemini ) are sextile at one degree. :) Any insight as to what this would manifest? What does this say about what my significant other will be like, how I will meet them, or anything else you find interesting? Is this essentially a good or bad predicament? Do any of you have house rulers in mutual connection? :) I'd love to hear more about this! IP: Logged |

Your lover will be your friend, or one of your friends will become your lover. Something like that! quote: Ruler of the 7th House in the 11th HouseFriendships can be tied to partnerships in some manner with the ruler of the seventh house in the eleventh house. You are an idealist when it comes to partnerships. It's extremely important to you that a partner share similar ideals, concerns, interests, and goals. You can be attracted to, or you attract, people who are independent, unusual, and unique. You may easily feel stifled if a partner centers most of his/her attention on you and your relationship, favoring at least a fair level of freedom in your connections. You typically do not smother a partner, and you prefer a partner who also allows you the freedom to be yourself and to pursue some independent activities. You can be a wonderful spokesperson who is able to connect well with a crowd.

Thanks so much! Unfortunately, I don't tend to make friends well with the opposite sex, though I do have a tendency to fall for the relatives of my best friend, and one guy in particular I tend to have a love-hate relationship with (Mars in seventh house, ruler of Scorpio, Scorpio sign of extremes?). I wonder if anything significant will happen between us in the future.. :O ? Does anyone think this placement has a lot to say about a future husband, or just who you're attracted to? IP: Logged |

^ Yeah, this. It could also mean meeting your partner online, at some sort of club, through politics, something long-distance that you'll keep going through technology. Not sure if it really describes the husband, but I think it does describe the general relationships you get into, including good friends (because of the one-on-one relating from the 7th house). I have this placement myself and aside from having an endless love-hate relationship with Aquarius (the 11th house), lots of men I meet end up showing the negative sides of this sign. That or aggressive, violent (Mars is my 7th ruler). As you have a Scorpio 7th house... do you feel your relationships are very Plutonian? Yes, the extremes with that guy could have been because of that! For me, the house placement and aspects definitely show what else I'm attracted to, on top of men who are confident, active, bold, a good leader and adventurous (also Aries!). Laying all of these traits out helped me a lot to put together what exactly I'm looking for in a relationship. Sadly, I haven't really attracted it yet. Though you've already gotten some good tips from Doux, I hope this helps as well. IP: Logged |

Oh gosh yes! People often ask me if I hate them, and I'm very lost when they do! I think I'm often misunderstood with my Capricorn Mars in 7th house as a disdainful, hateful and bitter person. Two guys in particular have Aquarius moons, and both I have had love-hate relationships with ( one of which is the relative of my best friend which I described in my last post here ) and I have felt very comfortable with them as well. The one relative of my friend also has a history with anger problems (mars). He'd often log on to my friends account over the web (Aquarius, technology, as you said) and pose as her, asking me questions about how I felt about him, and when I figured out what he was doing I'd flip out and soon enough there'd be a huge fight between the two of us xD ( I'm a Scorpio, so I don't like people trying to get past me and especially try to dig out anything about me or my opinions on people or just things in general ). My 7th house ruler is Jupiter ( 7th house Sagittarius ) and my 11th house ruler is Mars ( Aries ). So yes I can definitely agree with technology being significant with my relationships. Weirdly, I'm very much attracted to foreign people and people who take philosophy and religion seriously ( Sagittarius 7th house ), but I also very much would need a significant other to be professional and successful ( Capricorn Mars in 7th ). I think I'm attracted to very traditional people with my placements, and I think confidence goes hand in hand with that too. :) I also have the Mars trine Saturn exact, so this could also account for my attraction with professional men xD. My venus is also in an earth sign, Virgo, so I guess it sort of adds up. But you have the 7th ruler in 11th, 11th ruler in 7th aspect too? Which sign is on your 11th house cusp? :) Thanks for the post, too! I found your input really insightful and it made a lot of sense for me! ^^IP: Logged |

@breeandpen: Yeah, Scorpio/Pluto brings out the extremes. How frustrating to keep being asked that, though! Mars in the 7th would tend to get you in some relationships with people who can be aggressive. Sorry about that guy, wow, that was manipulative. Guess that's what you get with the internet, it's easy to remain detached. With Sagittarius and Aries there, are you attracted to that combo? Maybe with some Capricorn in the mix. My 7th ruler is Mars (Aries DSC) in Virgo, but its conjunction to Mercury makes me more attracted to Gemini. I love men who are chatty, witty, easily hold a conversation and are intelligent. Most men I've been drawn to (not even as a partner) actually had a pretty active 3rd house. Scorpio/Pluto shows up, too - I like these convos to go in-depth. A while ago, there was a really good thread on the people you attract and the 11th house was mentioned as well. You can read it here. With your DSC ruler here, I wonder if you can relate to it. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/220320.html It gives me a feeling that with the 7th house, someone you'd see as a good partner, would be someone you'd naturally click with, if going by the "who you attract" theory. Maybe someone who comes to you. (Hope nobody minds me namedropping, I thought it fit the thread! A little promoting won't hurt, right? ) @Milly. Sorry to hear that. Maybe it could mean you'll meet someone who has a hobby, goal or something else in common with you? I imagine the 11th house makes it someone you'd at least be friendly with. IP: Logged |
