well it's a long story and pretty complicated but to sum it up... he has alwayas liked me, i never liked him... he kept pursuing me and i finally liked him. we dated for a year and a half (long distance) and it was an emotional up and down rollercoaster. eventually i cut all contact because he lied to me about another girl and i didn't talk to him until he started talking to me again a month ago. he said he was sorry and he was wrong and he is different now. so i gave him a chance and i guess it has gone pretty well so far. i'm fine with being just friends. a relationship would not work between us right now anyway IP: Logged |

Could he think you don't really like him enough because he had to pursue you so long? Maybe he thinks he likes you more than you do him? That can cause resentment to build. hmmm it could be possible. i think he has low confidence honestly even though he doesnt seem like it. he told me he loved me once but this was very early in the beginning of when we first started dating so i just said "you don't have to say that" lol. that might have been the wrong choice for me but i did not feel the same at the time. and i tried so hard to hide the way i felt about him because i read about how aquarians don't like intense feelings and emotional stuff so i always just acted cool and casual. that's why he was so shocked when i told him that i actually did like him a lot and he really hurt me when he started dating another girl without telling me. but that's in the past. thanks for being so insightful. maybe i should just stop being scared and take initiative and contact him instead of playing hard to get. oh and what I mean by how should i respond is should i just continue letting him come to me so that I don't put myself in a vulnerable position or should i start contacting him since he has been the one to initiate every time we have talked for the past month? IP: Logged |

 That's what I would do if I were you, confused_libra, if I really wanted to be with someone. Just put all your cards on the table!
The worst he can do is say "no" then you know where you stand. You can try going over to where he lives just to say hi. EDIT: to answer your other post, you should just contact, get it over it, and find out if he is still interested if you want him in your life. Find out what he wants, too. Maybe he wants more than friendship? Communication is the key. If all you want is friendship, and he doesn't, that's not going to be easy for him to deal with and he might split. IP: Logged |

sounds like a similar situation of mine with an aquarius guy.....it was like he started playing games with who was going to text who first and playing the "not interested" aloof card but then bam his really sweet out of nowhere.......you'll be over him really soon trust me lol it got old for me. if he wants to talk he knows how his not a babyaquarius men though seriously so confusing, no wonder there are 9867875 threads about them... i truly think they want a dominate woman who initiates a lot. hmmmm aries is perfect for them, or scorpio act how you feel and if its not mean to be, its not meant to be....at least you'll find out sooner than later if you didn't waste your time or not by acting yourself IP: Logged |
