Well, you didn't add Degrees and so, I am going to assume aspects by sign positions. This Taurus seemsquite weary of his own intensity. Scared of the curve ball that his emotional nature may throw at him and so, he attempts to get a "hold" of his passionate disposition before it does him in.
There is a Pluto opposition with Moon and Sun that just can't be ignored. This aspect is potent.
Couple that intensity with a Sun/Moon Jupiter square that tries to be the idealist and be "above it all". This side of him certainly does not want to have him being a person consumed by passion and heavy feelings.
Close that off with a Sun/Moon Saturn square that "puts a lid on it" and you have someone who tries very hard to compartmentalize feelings and emotions (not an easy feat): They want to organize everything in a coherent sequence so as to “manage” themselves more efficiently.
But darn gosh golly, heavily intense Pluto always seems to keep the lid on the “edge” of exploding off whilst Jupiter aspects looks on with an “I want to do what I want when I want” mentality at the most inconvenient of times. Saturn aspects most certainly feel like a parent in a circus.
But it’s not over, oh no.
Venus/Mars opposes the idealistic Neptune and erratic Uranus whilst Mercury squares both planets too: Adding more of “rose coloured glasses” stance to the personality and an inability to be consistent in relating to others- because there is too much personal freedom that is at the risk of being lost.
Mars/Venus conjunction shows a light-breezy approach to relating with others and a desire to play the field as the passions are fleeting; they consume the individual very suddenly and then just die off.
All in all, the Jupiter/Mercury trine, Jupiter/Sun/Moon interaction by square as well as the Uranus/Venus/Mars square suggests someone who really wants a free reign to be able to have personal freedom in relationships with others as he does in his intimate relations.
Neptune hits the above mentioned planets first by trine Sun/Moon and then the idealism of Neptune gets even more intense with a square to Mercury, Venus and Mars:
He sees what he wants to see and will often feel misunderstood by others. He often feels that there are few who really can understand/ tolerate him and so he may lock himself away from intimacy even though he is more tolerant of others.
He may feel that there are more personal sacrifices that he needs to make in order for his relationships to trhive.
I actually believe him when he says that he just wants to be friends with you as he doesn’t quite think that you’ll be able to “handle” him. He may be successful in keeping a platonic distance from you as Sun/Moon Saturn square and Mercury/ Venus/ Mars square in Uranus support this. The friendship zone may work out for a while.
But when someone else comes into the picture or takes up your time, he may not be singing the same tune. In that instance, he may try to hide the Pluto/Sun/Moon interaction-but without success; he’ll surface as a lot more possessive, demanding, emotionally compulsive and combative then you know him to be: Because he’ll be jealous.
If you can give him the freedom that he wants to run the relations between you two as he chooses, you’ll have better luck with him. If not, you’ll struggle with a guy who won’t face up to his inner “Hyde” for a long time to come.
Good luck!
