I know Aries can be impulsive, but do they get married later in life because of being so set in their ways and doing things themselves? And do Libras get married early?

I think about Libras and how they're so flexible that it's easy for them to be in relationships and get along with others. I can get along with people, I feel, but I'm not flexible or very good at depending on others and I think this deters my love life from blossoming. Hence I will probably marry later in life, if at all.

Thoughts?

I'm 30 and not married. Yeah, I think Aries women are very independent so if they don't marry young (while they're still naive), they might never do it. There's one Aries that comes to mind that married at 31. So not that young. Another Aries friend of mine is in her late 30s and never been married. I myself don't see any prospects in the couple of years ahead. I think as time goes by I am more and more selective and less tolerant to BS. So it would take a really special kind of gentleman to make me change my ways. Plus, I am slightly commitment-phobic. This is not something that I admit often, because I long for the family that I never had (Chiron in the 4th, mind you) and especially children (NN in the 5th). But whenever I had that opportunity, I hesitated. And eventually ruined things. In the other cases, he ruined things. Let's just say I am not very confident about this, especially having my parents' example of staying together for 30 miserable years for.. nobody knows what, since they were always fighting, not to mention he became a drunk and semi-sexually abusive towards me. So, not a happy picture where marriage is concerned.

I think if I do decide to do it, it might be smth spontaneous, because if I think too much about it, I'm gonna back out. And necessarily need a prenup, since my faith in undying love is not so strong. Plus, I would have to have a lot of space, possible separate bedrooms. I am also thinking of keeping my apartment as my "special me place where I have my special me time", where I can escape when we're fighting like cats and dogs, which is unavoidable with my Aries Mars in the 3rd. And no, he isn't moving in! I had that once and hated it. Don't like invaders in my special place (Taurus IC).

I don't know who would put up with me, to be honest. I have things to offer, but I am relatively demanding about some stuff. And particular about the intimacy bit, too. Which is actually quite hard to get right!

I can see myself growing old with my cat Sebastian, being also a workaholic at times. Oh, and no jealous types! Geez, my Scorpio Venus ex thought I was screwing the whole hospital when I was on call. Got tired of explaining there really isn't time for that and we don't have showers either.

I don't know Libra's do seem to need relationships more than others.

Aries on the other hand, i think if they find someone as active as they are, then they are okay with being in a long term relationship without caring if it is marriage or not.

If anything, i think it is wise of them that they do wait till they are a bit older. we know who we are at 30 better than we do at 20, and by then we already figured people change, so know how to enjoy the relationship without dreaming too much about hat it should be like, and how to make it like our dreams tell us they should be like. ie we enjoy them better.

This goes better with Aries superb spontaneous energy, as one day they'll feel like being in a relationship, and the next not care so much about that...and older person is more willing to accept that than a younger one...specially someone who is just like that, so would understand the 'live the moment to the extremes' philosophy.

of course other placements in the chart are very telling of how likely they are to settle down.

These guys (Aries ascendant ppl to) do excellent and exciting friends, but could cause people's stomachs to turn if a person is romantically involved with them, and thinking that settling down with them will give them the 'calm' life lol.

Independence goes hand in hand with Aries and luminaries/planets on the ascendant, too. It's about self, for the most part, unless the sun is in a house that really likes to focus on others Then Aries might crave partnership more.

People should just acknowledge this about their ascendant/ first house, especially. Become consciously aware of the fact, "I am interested more in myself" and just take it from there, don't be ashamed or worried it will cause people to despise you. Self deception is a greater sin than self interest. People should respect genuineness in others and readiness to admit their shortcomings.

Well it's good to know I'm not the only Aries. It's not even a matter of getting married but I 'm just not very good at relationships because I won't change my opinions, or ways of doing things just because I like someone, or want someone to like me, or someone likes me. I mean, I do... but I've never met anyone that motivates me to trust them and let them in that way, that much.

I have a Taurus moon strongly aspected (positively, too) to my 7H planets and I am starting to realize what a slow poke I am at incorporating romantic interests into my life. I used to be the type who wanted to talk to them all the time and spend time together, now I don't. I have Gemini rising too, in case that mattered. No planets in the 1st house. Just an Aries stellium in the 11H, which I assume contributes to my growing detached nature (and moon opp. pluto.)

Gloria Steinem did... I'm 38 and unmarried. A spinster - run for your lives! I just didn't fawn over boys anywhere near enough; my goal has never been to have that big wedding day.

You're an Aries too? Come to think of it the only other Aries I know here is Hera! Come out, come out whereever you are fellow rams!!

I've never been big on my wedding day either! I either want a small, low-maintenance beach wedding, or just running to the court house and off to whereever. I do not want to deal with caterers, receptions, bridesmaids.... *shivers*

I am. Apparently just growing into the obnoxious side I keep hearing about, but most definitely an Aries.

It would have to be something spontaneous for me, too. No, "June 6th, 2015" for me. I'd probably forget about it, and have to be reminded by my mother. That sounds so bad. Either that, or I'd be a nervous wreck.

Lmao... my Leo friend (Cap ASC, Sag moon) came with me to the hospital after my mom had a heart attack and was out of surgery, he was lingering near the doorway and my mom, from her hospital bed, asked what he was doing. He said, "Looking at the exit routes."

Hear, hear!! Gimme room to breathe and I'll love you forever!

Haha, I am Sun trine Uranus and Jup natally. DC ruler is in Sag, another freedom lover. Juno is square Uranus and Jupiter.

I have to have my space, my freedom, my own money, my job, my car to hop in at any hour of day and night and go wherever I please. Codependency is so out of the question.

Idk guys, I think I could pull off a white wedding.. Taurus Venus is kinda conservatory and sh*t. I think it's sweet, in a way. Though to be honest I kinda don't wanna deal with all the relatives. Oh and all the priests. I don't want their blessing. Oh and wedding traditions.. *gags* My culture has some weird ones. Mno. Just no.

Okay, beach wedding it is then. Or just small ceremony at city hall, then go home and get naked lmao.

Actually coming to think about i did know of a lady who was even younger than your half sister when she got married. I think 20 or 21 and she was an Aries....her husband was a Libra, so explains probably why he was quick to marry her,

and why she was okay keeping him as her forever life partner(Libras almost never say 'no')...but i don't know the details of her birth chart, other than their sun signs....

or some Aries are impulsive and get married right away and go through a few marriages. Like my uncle who is an Aries.

Then he met wife number 4 also an Aries, whom is much younger than him.

I believe she was under the age of 21 when she married him, and he was in his late 30's. They are together today.

So my aunt is an example of an Aries who married young, and stayed that way.
She also has Saturn conjunct her Sun. So she doesn't seem like an Aries at all. haha

Of course some Aries will get married young, go through marriages, depends on aspects.

I have Sun square Saturn interestingly enough. But another Sun conjunct Saturn person I know almost got married at 20 or 21! Wonder if it's a pattern?

I thought about this because my ANNOYING Libra frenemy? texted me (after not hearing from him for months, and not seeing how I was doing) that his girlfriend said yes and they are now engaged. And then he has to go on Facebook and make his status "We're engaged!" and then change his status to "Engaged!" Like, OKAY we get it! I don't want him, promise, but he is actually bicurious and everyone thinks he's getting married just to be married, etc.

There's another girl, Libra, and she's been in a relationship with one guy after another since high school. She got married once too but it didn't last long, and I think it was a gunshot wedding. She always has a boyfriend and I don't understand it. It's so opposite of me because I NEVER have a boyfriend and I couldn't stand always having someone keeping tabs on me or being apart of my life that quickly. It's a foreign concept for me.

I've seen this happen also!

Personally I have no interest in getting married at all, and if/when I meet the right guy - I'd still prefer not to get married.
I've said this before on here, but I would prefer a relationship where we both did our own thing, travelled etc and saw each other sometimes. I do not want to live with someone 24/7 under the same roof for years on end.

I love kids and I want kids. As long as things don't seem 'static' or too traditional. My Venus is in the 11th so I can't do 'traditional'.

Because of my Cappy planets I tend to plan things.. so I know where I'll be 7 yrs from now haha (hopefully! unless things go terribly pear shaped)... Anyway I'm happy with my plans. I don't want to start a family until I'm 35 anyway. I'll have two kids between 35 and 42.

I think it will be true for me...27 and barely have had real relationships in my life and the ones I did have all ended before I was 20 so in 7 years I havent had any commitments. The three guys I did date and claimed they were my real BF were all before I was 20. Every bday passes and nothing. I feel cursed somewhat like who cant date within 7 years? and im already 4 months into being 27 and nothing. I did meet a Taurus and things were cool till he revealed he had a gf.

I try to live my life and be independent and up until a few years ago I didnt think anything was wrong but now I do. Its just weird. all my cousins and brothers all have significant others...even most of my friends

im just here chillin with my dog....life!

YEAH! This is exactly what I'm talking about! It's not like we're commitment phobic (some of us, anyway) but I think Aries find it hard to adapt to the rules and regulations of a relationships because of everything they stand for - themselves, being first, number 1, doing things themselves, independence, etc.
