Mercury conjunct Neptune in 9th house, Sag..I also think this contributes to her vengefulness in that her rage usually is birthed from delusions she has built up about the relationship and events that have taken place.

He's a Scorpion Jupiter+Moon (in the 3rd, opp Chiron). A Libran Pluto+Scorpion Saturn square to Aquarian Mars. Mars Quintile Eris in the 7th. (poorly aspected ASC/MC - except for Mars... his Mars is dangerous for an Air Mars.)

He just doesn't know how awful he is being or how to not be that way... believe me, I've tried to hold up that mirror so he'd see it isn't right. But, it goes right over his ego/head. You just don't mess with his ego... he's just one of those types. He's cold but his revenge never is. (sag sun/virgo asc)

Another example, eerily like him about revenge (and drama) and how enjoyable they seem to find stirring things up especially when someone has made some minor scuff over their fragile egos, happens to come from one of my dearest friends charts. She just creates trouble for herself without realizing it, and often jumps into long thought/drawn out schemes to make even her loved ones suffer. She's really complex though, and considering I've known her since we were like 5... I can just let her shenanigans slide most of the time. If I see her up to something, I stay away for awhile. ~shrug~ if you are anywhere near her when she's plotting you will get sucked in, there's no helping it.

She has Libran Pluto-Saturn-ASC cnj opposite Moon-Eris-Juno-DSC, Eris square Sun (Hera square Pluto, Saturn, Moon). Jupiter-Uranus opp Chiron. Her chart isn't so bad though either, lots of major conjunctions with royal stars though. chart ruler is squared by a few planets but quite wide... I think this is just how she is really. She's been groomed for this behavior since childhood. The neglect and responsibility set on her at such a young age, and the low self esteem with sometimes cruel comments, critiques of those who should have been supportive, and her peers. Experience made her twisted like this, not really the chart. Although those experiences do bring out the dark side of the best aspects, for sure.

Mars cnj Mercury wide cnj Sun in opp to Neptune... she just views everyone with that level of suspicion that is commonly associated with Scorpions, which is amplified by her own Scorpion decanate Cancer Sun. Her chart asks for balancing, but she gave up on that years ago. Now she's certifiably done with trying to be normal and nice. Which is a shame, but at least she's still here, and she's a crazy but great mother. ^^; Just wouldn't want to cross her. She's not the type to mess with, if you don't have some physical threat sneak up on you and deliver an ol' fashioned ghetto beatdown, it will come from the worst sh-tstorm, typhoon bad-mouthing you can imagine. Childish, but... she never cares. ~____~ you can't help these types. ; ;
It's habit.

I'm a cold burner... and a bit too practical, and earthy, and old, to play in the mud (slinging) circus of revenge. The older I get the less I care about getting angry at others, the more I accept people are flawed and that fate deals with everyone in the end. Like it or not, we all get what we deserve one day. I think of revenge as another waste of valuable life and energy - which are two things I don't think qualify as a commodity, especially for sick folk like this goat... but, I can at least somewhat understand my friend who likes making trouble and attracts trouble, far better than my husband who especially sets out to do people wrong whether he knows them or not, whether they care for him or he cares for them or not... that, I do not get... in the end, I just gotta accept they are both slightly demented individuals with really strange habits that involve causing others harm. (right?) lol ^^; it's not easy~ but, since I do care for these imbeciles... I'll learn. hahaha *^^*

Moon afflictions / IC ruler afflictions

I'm going to say that is a pretty decent indicator if there are enough other aspects present to support it. (such as the highly afflicted ASC or ASC ruler in these cases)

My IC ruler is well aspected
My Moon is only under wide opp from Saturn - and that is all.

Mars-Pluto in Scorpio gets a bad reputation for aggression and all that sneaky bs, like many Scorpion/Pluto natals... but - no, IME, Mars-Pluto *conjuncts* learn early to control their impulses. Other aspects between Pluto and Mars, probably not so early or easily. Mars-Pluto means I rarely ever get that angry, rarely ever need to seek revenge, and god save the poor soul who does deserve that 1% chance of retribution. lol (I may be tempted somedays, but I never act on it. lol ~forgive me, people can be verrrrrrrry trrrrying on my worn Virgoan ASC nerves.)

Pluto.
Mercury and Uranus, I think, but less emotional. More to even out the score.
The Sun would play a part because getting revenge is an ego driven task.
Moon, obviously.
Saturn.

Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune are the only planets I don't see being affiliated with revenge.

Moon square Pluto, opposition Pluto.
Moon square Saturn (hard to control one's emotions?)

Mars/Pluto are also vindictive, they are very explosive, they are not as patient as Mars/Saturn though and from what I've seen they usually stay in groups which consist of other Mars/Pluto people, gangsters of the zodiac.

Scorpio Moon - They can be very vindictive but it depends upon whether they are Scorpions or Phoenixes.

Moon/Pluto - They usually take revenge in emotional way, they manipulate you.

Cappys can also be vindictive but they usually don't have time for these things.

On topic: the most vindictive person i know was a girl i met in high-school: Aqua sun/saturn, saggi moon, pisces venus. She was extremely insecure and tried to take revenge on something it didnt exist.
