How about watching someone you love get hit by a car and killed, has that happened to you yet? How about you yourself getting diagnosed with terminal cancer? I know you've had trouble but don't tempt fate by saying it couldn't be any worse. It could get much worse. Just being saturnine!
I asked a simple question and you had to be a wisea** about it. I wanted to know if life gets easier for saturnian people after the saturn return, if you can't answer in a mature manner I would prefer you didn't answer at all. You don't know what my life has been like or the stuff I deal with on a day to day basis. I'm not claiming my life has been the hardest but I have dealt with alot of sh*t in my life and its an ongoing thing, I just wanted to know if this sh*t ever ends or gets better. Anyways, I'm going through very stressful times at the moment and I'm in a very foul mood so I would not test me if I were you.

How is it being a wisea** to say things can always get worse? They can. quote: Originally posted by aquaguy91: I wanted to know if life gets easier for saturnian people after the saturn return, if you can't answer in a mature manner I would prefer you didn't answer at all.
No...you asked: quote: Most people fear the saturn return and have negative experiences during it but do saturn heavy people have the same experiences?
I told you my father died, that's not "mature" enough for you? quote: Originally posted by aquaguy91: Anyways, I'm going through very stressful times at the moment and I'm in a very foul mood so I would not test me if I were you.
Test what? Your mood is your problem. If you want to go apesh*t, do it, it's no skin off my back. IP: Logged |

My transit just finished few months ago, your advice would've been very useful. IP: Logged |

Apparently everyone had a great Saturn return but me. Maybe they ought to change the readings for this one. IP: Logged |

For me, it was the approach (few years before) that were trying - I'd have to recheck, but I don't think it was in the orb of what most would consider the Saturn Return. IP: Logged |

I wonder what the orb is. Because I was going by sign. My Saturn is at 0 Leo, my dad was dying from 9-24 Leo. And during that time frame, I had a miscarriage, and my super nice brother-in-law got cancer. Maybe that's too late to count as a Saturn return, though. IP: Logged |

I'll check now. THEN I seriously have to get back to work - posting much too much today I've been checking in on my phone (everything with my sig) while doing chores and've been a neglectful wench at my computer (everything without my sig) while the girls watched Goosebumps and the baby's down for an early nap.

Thank you again I don't like mentioning my parents dying so often, I just count those dates and times as astrologically significant, so it comes up.

First my (now) ex announced during a deployment that he no longer wanted to be married (April 2008). --- I moved back to VA. --- I got a job, got promoted, worked on finishing my degree. With two children, it was hard but not exactly "trying" - it was hard in a fulfilling way. I was striving and growing. It was nice. Eventually, I met my (now)husband: --- And in short order we got married: IP: Logged |

No, you came into the thread with the attitude that you had it tougher than me and I am being a baby. The reality of the situation is you don't know what goes on in aquaguys life on a day to day basis. I didn't know about your dad and I'm sorry, I have lost close loved ones too (great grandmother, granparents, and uncle). Also my dad isn't dead but he is in prison far away and I maybe get to see him once a year. I am faced with the knowledge that he is miserable, lonely, and depressed everyday. Its especially bad around the holidays. Honestly I have watched him become institutionalized and its heartbreaking. He admitted to me that he didn't know how he would cope with being out when he is released. He said they took him to the hospital one night and the car ride scared the living sh*t out of him because he hadn't ridden in a car in over 5 years. He wont get out until September 2021, by that time he will be over 60. Also He probably will have a heck of a time finding any jobs because he has a record and has been out of the job market for soo long. I really wonder what kind of life he will live if he makes it out. I sometimes wish the Good Lord will take him out of his misery one way or the other, because I don't like seeing him suffer.

Faith,'m sorry you had to go through all of that. Wow, that would've been tough, you're one strong woman for making it through. I'm sorry you had to be reminded of it. But I could say the same about every Saturnine person. Their lives are usually about struggle... I'm sure OP didn't mean to stir things up. I haven't had my Return yet, but I really hope it'll bring me something good through all the hard work. Please don't let it get worse... maybe that's good enough for now. I guess for anyone Saturn-heavy, the most important thing is to be patient about what they want to achieve. They get a lot of knocks - dare I say, more than most people - and sometimes, Saturn is just plain not fair, it's not even dishing out the tough love. And not to get jaded - and boy, do I know how hard it is not to. I have Saturn conjunct my Cap moon and the IC, for ages I'd tuck my feelings away just so I could make it. Okay, this wasn't really ontopic. I just wanted to send out some support to everyone going through their SR or just having a rough time in general. <3 IP: Logged |

I'm sorry, too, Faith, that all of that hit you at once Sorry, too, that I didn't start off by saying that. I think it's my Aqua Moon. I see a problem and I just start to analyze it. IP: Logged |

Yeah your poor stellium gets squared and opposed by a bunch of my placements. But it's trine my Venus/Jupiter, albeit out of sign. Still cool. There's some hope! Haha * ((( Faith & aquaguy ))) There's no point in arguing over someone's struggles. We all have them, that's part of life.. Just keep going forward and never stop. You guys are all strong here. mockingbird,
I think the Saturn return lasts a long time - it basically starts when Saturn enters the same sign as in the natal, and ends when it leaves.. Of course the most "intense" part is when it actually makes a conjunction with the natal Saturn, but still.

^ So, there you go - mine started off pretty trying/turbulent (when tSatirn entered Virgo), but became downright pleasant as it neared my nSaturn.------------------ I love it when people use the word "sheeple". It lets me know not to take them seriously. •••••••••••••••••• If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. My natal Saturn is in a grand trine with my sun and Uranus, and a T-square with Pluto and Venus. My Saturn return sucked. I won't go into the details, but Saturn rarely does me any favors while it's touching my personal planets. As Faith and Aquaguy have mentioned, some Saturn experiences have been outright tragic and horrendous. Those experiences happened when Saturn was conjunct my sun in the 8th house, though. My Saturn return brought hardship (a major b*tch slap to the way I had been living my life, which was far from responsible or productive). I lost my job, struggled with some serious problems that had plagued me for a decade, but then... I got over it. I got my life together, started an entirely new career that I loved and was good at, and my life has been WAY better ever since my Saturn return. So...rewards. Um, not while it's present. The rewards came after the fact (which sometimes happens with my Saturn transits, sometimes not)--when I choose to get back on my feet, accept what has happened, and start again. I hope your return is a good thing Aquaguy.

I'm experiencing my 1st Saturn Return, so maybe I'm speaking prematurely. My nSaturn is retrograde in 11H, conjunct Mars, sextile Jupiter, widely trine Sun-Mercury-Venus. I have Jupiter/Neptune conj. in Capricorn; Saturn is the ruler of my 2H cusp. My associations and "friendships" have changed; I've been rather aloof and inconsistent regarding my current friends, but now I'm feeling more and more like our friendship may be coming to a close. I am fine with this, as there was never a true equilibrium there anyway. REAL friends do not take and take, etc. I had a long-time friendship with someone I met online, and I'm finally done with that now. It was VERY Neptunian (read: not real), and Saturn told me that that **** was never gonna happen, lol. I'm also FINALLY getting my self back together: eating healthier, caring about exercise, finishing my book that's been sitting in my head, getting steady employment. Saturn is telling me that I actually have to put in SOME effort to be successful, nothing wrong with that. I tried to use the Law of Attraction in a negative way...just sitting on my ass and visualizing. tSaturn is direct now and will hit my natal for the last time in October. I'm praying that the metamorphosis will be complete then. IP: Logged |

I won't lie though--the whole Saturn Return business scares me a little, although I'm trying to be positive and learn from mine.Lee Thompson Young and Gia Allemand have not helped that anxiety, lol. And my father did not survive his 2nd Saturn Return...he had a tragic Mars-Uranus transit. Thank you all for your stories, I'm learning so much here. IP: Logged |
