sorry about your dad. its natural to be weary of the things/the future when you have been repeatedly let down by people close to you that your loved and trusted.imo transits can flavour your saturn return experiences...check your progressions and any big or long lasting transits that will be happening during your big SR. hell you might have some cool transits or progressions going on! i learnt a hell of alot about myself and definately came out stronger and 1000x more sure of myself keep your head up, you'll be alright IP: Logged |

Saturn's a tester but you are a strong person, Aquaguy!I know right now you have some self doubt. I think you'd be better off trying to find ways to be a manager or supervisor at work, something like this, and try to accomplish stuff. That's what Saturn is best at and you will feel happier knowing you were able to take on more responsibility/make a greater impact because Saturn likes to know he can endure tests/come out stronger once they are finished. At least that's my experience. One day you will look back and feel proud of all you have accomplished and Saturn can do a lot, you just need to have faith in your abilities. IP: Logged |

I'm intrigued now. It's more than 4 years away for me, granted, but my natal North Node will have transit Chiron at the same time. Transit North Node will be conjunct my moon and transit Uranus- natal Venus conjunction. Interesting. edit: and transit Neptune conjunct natal Sun. Seems like a confusing time IP: Logged |

Thanks for asking. I don't have an exact birth time (long story), but it looks like tPluto might have been on my vertex. And tPluto was tightly trine tSaturn. Also, the day he died: -The moon was transiting conjunct tSaturn in Leo -The sun and Mercury were transiting one degree from my sun (he died the day after my birthday) -Jupiter was transiting conjunct our Venus-Saturn conjunction (I'm Venus, my dad was Saturn) - t NN was conjunct my moon in Pisces (less than 1 degree orb) -t Chiron and tVenus were conjunct my nMercury -tNeptune was conjunct my sun-moon midpoint (less than 1 degree orb) So that's that. I never looked at this closely before and have to say I am kind of blown away. And I am sorry to be morbid, I don't know what else to say when topics like this come up. Just telling what happened.
Edit: It's so easy to change the transits at astro.com, that I looked at the day my mom died. Not expecting anyone to follow all of this, and I'm sorry that it's off topic, but just for my own sake, I feel the need to write this down. Then, a Pluto-Chiron conjunction was on my Venus (actually wedged between my natal Venus and Neptune, which are conjunct), tNN in Leo was in conjunct my natal Saturn. The moon was conjunct the Vertex for the birth time I use (and asteroid Elvis was conjunct the moon, right at the hour she died...LOL...sorry for laughing but OMG). The sun was conjunct my Neptune, and tNeptune was conjunct my Mercury. IP: Logged |

I'm crazy, I know, but my, my father's, and Elvis's own asteroid Elvis are all tightly conjunct in our natal charts, and it's a fast asteroid. - t NN was conjunct my moon in Pisces (less than 1 degree orb) -t Chiron and tVenus were conjunct my nMercury -tNeptune was conjunct my sun-moon midpoint (less than 1 degree orb) So that's that. It's crazy what comes out in the charts. I'm not much of one for prediction, but it's always fascinating in hindsight. ------------------ I love it when people use the word "sheeple". My sister's Saturn Return has started, an it seems like a doozy so far. I'm not sure about "strongly Saturnine", but her Saturn seems pretty strong. ------------------ I love it when people use the word "sheeple". I know, right? Your sister's transits look intense! Holy cow, tNN & tSaturn on her moon/Pluto SN. I feel bad for her! Maybe Venus will come along and give her a break soon, if only for a little while. But by then Mars might be squaring moon-Pluto...I don't know how fast everything travels. My sun opposes my sister's as well. Well good luck to her. IP: Logged |

some time ago I read a great advice on the astrology blog from Elsa P. and it said that when you're having saturn transits you should talk to saturnine people (as in old people, police person and so on) for they can tell you if you are on 'the right path' so to speak.I like the idea of this concept very much, especially since after pluto went through sadge and my big 4th house (with saturn/uranus/neptune in it) I can't ask my grandparents anymore. Thanks Violet Sorry to hear your grandparents are no longer with you, la_mer. Yeah, I'd be hard pressed to find any old people to talk to. My aunts and uncles are emotionally distant, I think hell might freeze over before I called them with any sensitive problem. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I don't know. I'd have to do some playing around with the charts - maybe after this weekend. My Grandmother's finally getting interred at Arlington (passed in December) and we'll have family in.I never noticed what an intensely SCORPIO Moon she has. I mean, I took note of the placement a while ago (mostly because our big three are oddly inversed - I'm a Pisces Sun/Aqua Moon/Scorp Asc, she's a Virgo Sun/Scorp Moon/Aqua Asc), but never noticed until now that it's just about the most Scorpio Moon that ever did Scorpio. (And, yes - she's as intense as you'd guess.) I want to go back and check to see when Saturn entered Scorpio. Her house burned down last winter and now her husband's left her, or at least is serious enough about it that he's moved out and she's looking for a place for her and their boys to live. ------------------ I love it when people use the word "sheeple". Ew. I just checked. It was actually further along in Scorpio when their house burned down, right at her Moon. I guess that means it's been bouncing back and forth since then at least.I'll dig up an ephemeris later and take a better look. ------------------ I love it when people use the word "sheeple".
