I had this (my mars conjunct his venus in virgo) and also my mars conjunct his sun in virgo.Our relationship is sort of over I'm afraid but I know I will be obsessed with him forever. I don't think one mars/venus conjunction in synastry can show addiction in a relationship or how the relationship will be. Looking at synastry you need to look at the big picture. There are other planets in a chart,also ASC/DSC, MC/IC, Nodes, Vertex, Eros..., house overlays in synastry. It's far more complicated than a simple mars/venus conjunction. Also composite chart that show the relationship itself, composite chart to natal chart(with planetary aspects and house overlays) and how the relationship affects each person.
You need to look each individual chart, chart to chart, composite chart and composite to natal chart. Then you get the big picture. Saying that one mars/venus conjunction can show addiction is like saying that all you need is the have only one moon-moon, sun-moon or venus-mars aspect to make the relationship work. IP: Logged |

The most explosive and obsessive aspect would be Venus-Pluto and you can detect it also at the First Meeting chart except the synastry. It's full of deep emotions that we can't explain and karmic! I also read that it starts as a secret love affair in many cases. So I'm sure it's not only Venus-Mars.------------------

Problem is, people with Venus-Pluto in their natal chart will have this supposedly amazing and unique karmic connection with everyone in their age group. So I don't know what to make of it.

No they won´t.
This happens only if both people have personal planets aspecting this Venus-Pluto-aspect, if there is natal resonance, if the resonance shows up again in composite and/ or first meeting chart AND only in terms of the occupied or ruled houses in both natal charts.
Then, and ONLY then, you really have Venus-Pluto-Karma with someone.

Faith not really... I do have a square Venus-Pluto aspect in my natal chart but it's impossible to follow a whole generation, but I'm very Plutonian and noticed that my karmic relationships are born late August to early September of 1983. Pluto aspects and Scorpio are connected with important dates and facts in my life. The most recent is the day I met the guy I'm in love, and the First Meeting Chart has Venus-Pluto-Juno conjunction in the 2nd house... Plus our ASC is in Scorpio... I seriously don't know what's going to happen and not sure what does this mean... Most certain is I'm obsessed with him and my first thought was he's the man of my life! The water sun/moon make it hard to forget and move on esp. the water moon. You said she is pisces sun ? Where is her moon ? I have my mars exact conjunct with my closed friend venus in a hot sigh scorpio. We've been in uni together , work together for 6 years . He's always give me a hint that he 's interested but I'm a woman who love with my brain equally with my heart , so I calculate all that possibility , I don't think we can't go further then I just walk away. He is aqua moon ,scorpio sun and I'm libra sun , cancer moon ... did I just mention ...we have sun trine moon double whammy here  So , from m2C , I think it's not because the venus-mars conjunct but maybe something else.

I'm one of them. Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, my IC. I don't know how it is percieved, but I don't think I'm particularly more noticeable than the next person. Besides, as always, there is a lot in the chart. As Ceridwen said, I have felt a couple of Watery trines, with a pluto-pluto-venus conjunction. That was nice. I've had a few girl friends who were Scorpio Mars. The only thing I can say, is they weren't afraid of touching me, or vice versa. I used to be their pillows when they were tired, and we always enjoyed long hugs. I've never had Venus-Mars conjunct in a relationship, so I don't know. ------------------
