My best friend can't get over her ex. Usually, she can get over guys pretty quickly, but she is stuck on this one. They have this aspect, his Mars right on her Venus in Aries, and I think it might be the culprit. Any opinions? IP: Logged |

there has to be something else.... yes, it is an explosive aspect....but, it is more sexual/sensual than...emotional... what about moon, pluto, psyche, eros? anything plutonic?IP: Logged |

^ HmmmWell, I dunno, I think her Aries Venus might make sex more important to her than it is to some other people (not that I would pry or announce her preferences to the world, of course! ) They have Mercury trine Mercury in water signs, I think that's a big thing. And I just realized they have Juno conjunct Juno but with a 6 degree orb. IP: Logged |

Yes. That's big! Why are they not talking? I have always stayed on talking terms with people whose Mercury trines my Pisces Merc. Is it a close trine? IP: Logged |

true, but..i still think there is something more. ive venus in scorpio and had it conjunct with mars in scorpio....it is binding, esp. in scorpio... sexual expression becomes a sacred act with this combination....so, you have a point there. however, in my experience, it has always been the mars person who has had a greater difficulty in letting the venus person go, so, i think that there are some aspects that denote her being more into him than the other way around, like her pluto or 5/7/8h house activity..... also...was she the one who was let go? because i find that folks with aries have a very hard time if they're the ones who are let go/rejected/dumped...it is an ego thing for them. I was always wondering how the mars-venus conjunction in synastry works. What if the conjunction was in 6th house. That's not a very sexy house for synastry and I've read that having someone's mars in your 6th house, the other person would control your daily life. IP: Logged |

I made a thread on common synastry patterns and a lot of long term couples had plenty of 6th house activity. So yes, it would control daily life, not to mention 6th house rules health so it could be interpreted as sexual healing. You two are probably at it like bunnies. IP: Logged |

I have my Mars conjunct my friend's Venus, and on a platonic level, no, not really addictive. Someone was even shocked we had the conjunction (in Leo no less!) and that there were no romantic feelings.Maybe it's something else? Ours are conjunct by about 3 degrees. IP: Logged |

It's a long story, but he's been emotional about it. quote: Originally posted by hikoro: so, i think that there are some aspects that denote her being more into him than the other way around, like her pluto or 5/7/8h house activity..... also...was she the one who was let go? because i find that folks with aries have a very hard time if they're the ones who are let go/rejected/dumped...it is an ego thing for them.
Maybe? She's a Pisces sun, though...I think she likes herself when she treats people right...her ego is based on that, more than on how people treat her. He's a Sag moon, maybe he just wants to wander. IP: Logged |

^ Hi, good morning! I'm checking...Her Saturn is at 10 Leo, possibly trine his Sag moon (no birth time) and conjunct his 15 Leo sun. His Saturn at 0 Cancer is trine her late Aqua Mars and possibly trine her Aqua moon (no birth time for her, either.) Saturn trine moon DW would have to make the feelings stick. Their composite Saturn is conjunct his Mercury in Cancer (6 degrees), trine her Pisces Mercury. But their composite is all spread out, not concentrated in any one area, which may be a problem. I just feel bad for her, she's been suffering with this one for over 2 years. Love sucks. IP: Logged |

Oh and I would like to mention this for the sake of showing how true astrology is:Her sister was born one day before this ex, same year, and she also lost contact with her sister at about the same rate that she was losing contact with the ex. Meaning, the contact went from close, to troublesome, to nonexistent. IP: Logged |
