I have cancer Moon in the 9th house, too.

K does not seem clueless about other people' s feelings at all. I have seen that with 1st house stelliums in other people.

Agree with this, i have 1st house thingy, and more than once i have been told i'm a very good 'people reader', and then people go and do things that proove my 'hunches' about them were spot on from the first time....though wasn't like that before.

I know this is now going to be sounding so egocentric, but i think first house ppl usually do better when they start listening to their own inner voice, than others....could be the karmic thing from the past, letting others lead their lives instead of them leading it themselves?

^ Yes 1st house is ruled by mars/aries and mars energy represents our instincts. I always follow my gut and I usually succeed with flying colors.

I'm not dependent on others and I dislike team work but I try not to take on too much because failure not an option.

Mars in Aries probably contributes to my keen instincts too.

However, square and oppositions are true challenges to everyone of us. The harsh aspects are what make us learn and grow.

With Moon opposition Pluto, it's very likely that your mother was quite the controlling type who used her maternal authority to smothered you with limitations.
Your early domestic environment was rather toxic in nature, poisoned by negative energies and colored by issues of control/power struggle.

This could hint at an unresolved Karma of a emotional nature towards one's mother or childhood.
It could also be traced back to previous lifetimes because both Moon and Pluto( along with Saturn) are considered among the most Karmic planets in Astrology.

I definitely have issues with control. I attract controlling women as friends but we still get along because we are all "alpha" females.

What about the stelliums though?

I have an 8th house Libra stellium, and most of what I've read about the 8th house seems pretty negative. Very doom and gloom. I'm interested to know how this plays out, and what it means in terms of Karma. I'm also a Scorpio sun, Mercury, and Uranus, and asteroid Karma conjuncts my sun. Any thoughts?

You strike me as the loving, nurturing and motherly-like type of person

Thank you!
Astrology is fond of saying people with moon in Taurus or Cancer have really nurturing mothers, and were well cared for in their early home environments. I wonder if it's always the case, it wasn't with me. Sometimes, it seems, the opposite is true yet the person with these moon signs learns from it and makes a point to be a different person because of hardships they experienced.[/B][/QUOTE]

I think the saying holds true, but can be modified by aspects to the moon. For instance, I know someone with moon in Taurus that is square by Saturn. So this is going to negate the nurturing mother and well cared for environment thing.

I know another person with moon in cancer in the first house. The moon is a singleton. He never talks about his mom and she seems to not have had any influence on him at all.

I don't see the 8th house as negative. You uncover taboos. You are not superficial. You are very needed by society( and humanity) which lives on superficial level.
