I've always thought of this.I have a Moon in Libra at 21 degrees (9th house), I am 9 degrees away from being a Moon in Scorpio. Sometimes, I feel as if I have more Moon in Scorpio traits than I do Moon in Libra. Is it possible for a Moon sign to be on ''the cusp''? ------------------ capricorn asc ♑ libra sun ♎ libra moon ♎ 9th house Stellium in Libra :D ''Only through the darkness can you see the stars'' - Martin Luther King, Jr. IP: Logged |

I think 9 degrees is too far away for that. Do you have much going on in your 8th house? IP: Logged |

I don't think it can...I've heard of the 29 degree though, it should be able to call upon the traits of the next sign, but in a way that makes the person unable to choose what is the right thing to do...they can be a bit torn between 29 and 0 degree in the next sign... I can sure feel this as I am a pisces moon in 29 degree, if I was just born 30 minutes later I would have been an aries moon...I can sometimes feel the moon moving into aries when I feel stressed out, but usually it just makes me kinda confused between the two signs...IP: Logged |

My Capricorn Moon is at 26.7 degrees and I have so many traits of an Aquarius Moon that it makes me second-guess the birth time on my birth certificate.IP: Logged |

I have Moon in Cancer 29th degree, i do not feel like a Leo Moon at all.. I'm not an attention seeker, although i do like to entertain people, i would rather do that more subtly... Oh and I'm definitely not a drama queen! IP: Logged |

It makes me wonder too. Assuming that my TOB is correct, my Moon is 7 minutes before Scorpio and even though I identify Libra I'm confused sometimes because I also notice some Scorpio in myself. Its influence is rather internalized though. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

the traits you're describing are more traits i personally would connect with leo sun or leo mars, all the leo moons i know are super generous, fantastic story-tellers, calm and gracious and always see the best in people. IP: Logged |

Thanks for sharing this term! I found a website that calculates it and... Western Astrology Vedic Astrology Non Parallax View: This signifies the location of the Moon as seen by an observer in the centre of the earth. Western Non Parallax Vedic Non Parallax 29° 52' 2'' Lib 6° 8' 7'' Lib Parallax View: This signifies the location of the Moon as seen by an observer on the surface of the earth. Western Parallax Vedic Parallax 0° 23' 24'' Sco 6° 39' 29'' Lib http://www.mysticscripts.com/astrology/western-astrology/lunar-parallax/
So where is my Moon? Both in Libra and Scoprio or what?
Btw, according to astro.com my Moon is at 29.52'51" Libra so maybe this software is not perfectly accurate. But still my parallax Moon would be in Scorpio so...What now?! ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Hmm.. not sure about the fantastic story telling, but i can say that i'm someone who always sees the good in people now i'm not sure anymore about the cusp influence lol

There is no such thing as a "cusp" Cusps were only thought to be real because people did not know their exact time of birth, (or not at all)or they thought the Sun just magically went into a sign on the day, rather than time.IP: Logged |

I'm gonna have to go with Mercurian Intellect on this one, there's lots of reasons why you could feel like an X moon instead of a Y moon, as for the Scorpio influence if you have any personal planets in the 8th house or scorpio, or aspecting Puto, or Scorpio on the Asc (and to a lesser extent Mc/Ic/Dc), there can be an added Scorpionic side. Also look at transits, if Pluto is passing through your Asc/Dc axis or transitting any personal planets Scorpio themes can be expressed at this time.IP: Logged |

! Funny thing, because of the apparent size of the Sun and Moon, they actually take up half of a degree! So your Sun and Moon placement are actually 15 minutes wide on either side. Imagine you have Moon at 29 degree 50 minutes...well, it would appear your Moon is actually partially in the next sign by a few minutes! IP: Logged |

Guys! Remember that if your sign is in 27.5 or later degrees that your duad will be that of the previous sign that sextiles the next one. For example I have Gemini Venus at 28 degrees. I don't think I would confuse it as Cancer but it's definitely flavored more grounded than some descriptions I read. Maybe this could cause some confusion. IP: Logged |

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/219772.html interesting. i found this post on the matter^ my moon is 20 minutes from my 7th house and i do really believe it can be interpreted as both... even though this just says 15 minutes. IP: Logged |

I am torn with this one. I am i think 5 minutes away from being a leo moon, and although I am very sensitive and emotional like a cancer- I express it in a very dramatic leonine way. I have no leo placements in my chart. I love to dress up and love hair! So for me, I feel very much like a lunar leo but also cancerian.IP: Logged |

I only have Pluto in Scorpio. It sextiles my Sun and opposes Mars but widely (8 deg). It's too far from my Moon to conjunct it even if it's in Scoprio. No planets in the 8th. Transit Pluto conjuncts my Uranus.I think I'm gonna start treating my Moon as a hybrid ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |
