It seems like you know everything and I'm not being sarcastic. You're smart!!

You know what though? Check this out.
I'll have no shame in this moment.

In high school? Flunk city baby. I didn't even graduate. I got my GED later.
But then, a little while later I went to college. In college? 3.98 GPA.

The difference?
I wanted it! I had serious drive and motivation to learn and to better myself. Not that I'm best by any stretch but I'm pretty happy thus far.
I think a sign or a placement might show potential but if you don't take it, you don't get it.
It could be genetics, lots of things. But I think desire and drive are critical.

Anybody here ever study Savants? Man they're interesting. Usually Autistic and not very able to communicate but there's one, Daniel Tammet who has this weird Mathematical ability and he's socially competent so he is able to take us into his mind.
"The Boy with The Incredible Brain" if you want to watch a documentary. It's on youtube. Pretty interesting!

Okay I may sidetrack this. Sowwy!

I have noticed that people with Mercury in aspect with Mars makes the person really really sharp, and it is beneficial when having to do with science of some sort (math for an example)
I think both square, conjunctions, and trines would work but the degree has to be around 3!
And it is especially in fire signs, have you ever tried to argue with a sag/aries mercury square, conjunction or trine a fire mars? You are going to loooose...especially if they also have Sun conjunction mercury! This gives an unusually sharp intellect!

It's also good to have saturn/mercury aspects. It really adds some sharpness in the communication skills
So having both saturn and mars aspecting mercury is good for a sharp person who quickly understands hardcore facts.

Zander, I don't feel smart. I look at other posts on LL and think they know a lot more than me.

About college - it could be maturity, too, and college has less distractions and is more serious than high school. You have to rely on your academic skills while high school is more about relying on your social.

I think I'm a little above average but there are some who are completely above :P

And grammatical errors sheesh - I am way above average there lol. Mercury conjunct Uranus clearly doesn't indicate flawless grammar.

Lol.. hmm, i think you're on to something with grammatical errors. I think its a combination of fast impatient thoughts, can't get them on paper fast enough.. totally disregarding grammar in the process.. Thank god for autocorrect

Are you one of those who speaks fast too?

Kero - I can get that way too and I have Mercury conjunct Jupiter and it's in Libra with an easy aspect to Venus. Sometimes I balk at the tedious work.

Nahyt, I type really quickly, skipping words, sometimes. When I change something, I leave part of the sentence the way it was and when I finally reread and notice, I go back and edit. Just sloppiness, basically. I don't have a lot of patience for writing and editing even though I love writing. It's a contradiction, pretty much.

Well you know... it's like I used to be into fast cars. Kind of am still but I had to give it up to stay out of trouble. LOL
But they say, "there's always a car out there faster".
There's always someone out there smarter. Just trust us, you're very intelligent.

In fact, you know, I haven't come across one person on this site that I wouldn't call intelligent. Honest. Some of us are at different levels in Astrology but it takes an intelligent person to understand even some of the basics of aspects and such I think.

As for most intelligent sign? I don't know!
I know some smart Pisces. I know a Gemini who knows history like no other. He watches Jeopardy constantly. I couldn't do that show to save my left leg.

I've seen people who need help filling out a basic form but sure know a remedy for some ailment you might have.
Wow this is going to be a hot thread.
Hopefully no arguing. I'll jet outta here!

I haven't known every sign super well, but you know... as a group for general knowledge. Flexibility to know just a vast amount of things, I'll have to say Pisces #1. After that... I don't know. Not all Pisces of course but I know quite a few and they're ALL smart!

IMO, I don't think there is a "most intelligent" or a "least inteligent" sign. Every sign has its own forte, and I'd rather associate it with the multiple intelligence category rather than labelling as the "most" or "least". I mean, people also have their own strengths and weaknesses. A person may be bad at logic but good at bodily kinesthetics.

Also the planets and aspects would come into play too. There's just more to it than just one sign itself.

But the OP says "True, but I bet that people on average will be unknowledgable about that and say the positive aspects, lol."

LOL Just a little old school Bill and Ted. hahaha
I can't think of that guy without thinking about that movie. LOL It's impossible.

EDIT: There might be people on here not even born yet when that movie came out. Damn I'm old.

Yeah I'm thinking Pisces and Scorpio at number one! I can think of two Pisces suns right now who maintained 4.0 gpa and one only got a B once in her life or something.

After reconsidering Pisces past performances, I have to go with Pisces.

I like LL Scorpio suns but the Pisces suns irl are just too phenomenally off-the-charts talented at certain things.
