I v'e notice all the aspects sooner or later manifest as betrayal . Always some form of taboo associated with this , but the positive aspect deal with it and get on with it . The Pluto person or Venus person doesn't matter. The beneficial aspects will be forgiven ( I've seen couples stay together after the s*%$# hit the fan! ) and the stressful aspects usually split up since they cannot handle the deceit/lie or betrayal so well.

I have the trine aspect and yes I forgave him very easily, it did not even effect me so much. I have a sq. between the two planets!!! , but my other boyfr. who I had a sq. aspect in synastry , I did not even want to hear any apology. it was also took me years to recover the first breakup !
please feel free to comment.

But I've read it's the Venus person that gets obsessive (even though that doesn't make sense since Pluto is typically the obsessive one)...

Any thoughts?

I feel it doesnt matter whether u r the venus or the pluto person. I share this aspect with a taurean though the orbs were very tight n mutual aspects.it was intense but not obsessive. Only when the guys were scorpios It was obsessive/controlling. N with my scorpio ex it took me three yrs to make him leave me. He would resort to bla kmails n he had these suicidal tendencies too. Depends on the person too.

is a 6 and 9 orb too far out to be felt as a trine?

I have Pluto aspecting some of my personal planets natally, Venus/conjunct Pluto included, and for me to react to the same aspect in synastry, it had to be no more than a 2 degree orb. Especially with people born 2-3 years before, or after me..Yet with people born in the early 80s and back, I can feel a 4-6 degree orb with synastry Venus/Pluto aspects..me definitely being responsive to it...though usually my synastry with people from the mid 70s to early 80s, has heavy Pluto influence. So maybe its the extra Pluto aspects that grab my attention soo strongly..I've had the Venus/Pluto double whammy in synastry before... Wow ...But I've only had this once.

Thanks for sharing. What I mean wasn't about who reacts more, but that Pluto is slow moving so that how reactive the Pluto person is depends on how strong Pluto is in his/her own chart.
But you have a point, people that has some Plutonian energy probably already feel it in a natural way and not be as surprised as the other person!

But hey, Venus/Pluto DW must be intense!!
