I have seen it with Eros conj Saturn where the person is obsessed with sex. It is not a good thing as it was more of a tormenting thing to the person.

I have Echo conj Saturn. If you know me, you will know that I am obsessed with finding my authentic voice.

What do you have in a close conjunction with Saturn--asteroid of planet?

I always assumed that it meant there was a bit more emphasis on my Yod, but I'll have to think about the obsession idea.

I can easily become obsessed with various interests and projects, so it's hard to tell. Let me take a moment to find an objective space to examine it...

I can become obsessed with future outcomes regarding things that stress me out or bring uncertainty. Then I will usually look to charts, or occasionally consult a psychic in order to help me decipher what's best regarding my "life's path". Sometimes I just get myself wound up until a situation resolves itself, or I get exhausted and fed up with fretting about whatever it is, and let go of it.

So, I’m obsessed with the saturnian themes like responsibility, duty, work hard in order to achieve a goal, discipline and as my moon is at 1th house and my sun in 7th house, I require this things a lot of myself and others. I used to be very angry if someone was irresponsible or didn’t keep their promises at work, with me and with themselves. Today I try to understand others and myself and try don’t push so hard because after all, we’re human not machines.

But I’m still very obsessed with self discipline (I think I don’t have enough).
Regarding asteroids with saturn, I have Semiramis (less than 2 degree orb) and Athene (0 degree orb) conjunct Saturn and these asteroids pretty resonate with the role he plays in my chart(controller,military discipline, judge and rigid professor).

About Semiramis (584): Queen of Babylon and a control freak power-obsessed.
