Cool! thanks for the tip I'm into astronomy too and a few days ago I was searching for a telescope. I think a proeminence of aquarius and uranus could do this (I have) and I recently discovered I have the asteroid Chaldaea (313) conjunct sun (wide, 3 degree) and I read that chaldeans was the major astronomers in antiquity.

My pleasure ^^ And good luck with the telescope! Are you considering astrophotography maybe? There is Uranian energy in my chart too - Sun conjunct Uranus, ASC trine Uranus, Aquarius Venus. I also checked asteroids and... Hypatia and Urania in the 1st house, Urania opposite Chaldaea exact Astronomia conjunct Astrometria in the 3rd in Scorpio. Astronautica opposite Moon exact. Ptolemaeus conjunct Venus by 1 degree. Hawking conjunct Lilith exact. Isaac Newton conjunct Mercury exact. You could check them out too

Oh, really? Thanks. That's kinda ironic considering my intention behind it. quote: Hypatia conjunct NN
I'm getting jealous You should watch Agora if you haven't seen it yet. It's about Hypatia and it moved me a lot. I loved it.Btw, I have an Uranus-Neptune conjunction too, maybe that's why one of my biggest dreams is meeting aliens

I think Mercury in Libra can promote it. It seemed every Mercury in Libra guy I met seemed to have an interest in Astronomy.Obviously all things Aquarius and Uranus as well. I have no planets in Aquarius but I have Sun trine Uranus and I am really interested in Astronomy. Actually, all things Science. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure why Libra does, but I they always like Astronomy and Science. Well at least the ones I met. I have Sun in Virgo and I love Science so much. It's my favorite. What is parallel in aspects? IP: Logged |

Although Uranus is Greek for "heavens" and Aqu is naturally scientific, curious and logical, I believe there is also an element of Pisces here too. Pisces is about the universe and other worlds and I believe something in Pisces would apt -maybe Jupiter or Sun in Pisces.Edit- astronomy I guess is also an allied science to physics, which is a physical science. A bit of Capricorn would help - like mercury in cap. IP: Logged |

I think astronomy has to do a lot with curiosity, and when you think about that, according to astrology, Gemini is a curious thing, they are also known to be intelligent? Then obviously Aquarius. Pisces of course too, imagination, similiar to Gemini. Maybe Scorpio too? I don't know. A lot of Scorpios that I know are very well with physics. IP: Logged |

I really don't know why people aren't mentioning Virgo. I know they're practical but they are also intellectual so a Mercury or Sun in Virgo will be good for Astronomy too.

I don't know if Virgo is intellectual but the Virgin is deinitely analytical.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

They are co-ruled by Mercury, the planet of intellect, so they're the intellectual earth sign. IP: Logged |
