I would say that a love of being chased is probably a masculine Venus but particularly fire and chasing is a masculine Mars, particularly fire again. However, I think the sun sign also plays a big role. I can remember being chased by a Leo with Venus in cancer and Mars in Virgo.

And if you think of the signs, Sag is a wild horse and wants to be tamed, Lions like pounce, rams like to hound down something and headbut it.

Using logic, that means any sign that is square these signs would not like a chase/be chased. So to use Sag as an example, Virgo and Pisces wouldn't like it and Gemini being opposite to Sag as they really are just the other side of the coin to each other.

In general masculine signs will chase, while feminine signs will magnetize… Planetary strength will have an effect too. Moon/Venus/Neptune dominants would be more likely to magnetize, while Sun/Mars/Jupiter/Uranus dominants would be more likely to chase. I also think it’s true that Men will generally prefer to chase while women will generally prefer to be chased… GENERALLY that is! Of course there is variation amongst individuals. I think it's a balancing act between what gender you are and what your chart is like.

My last BF had both his Venus & Mars in ARIES. He was also a Taurus Sun. Not the good fit that people assume it would be!

I have cancer mars and this is definately true, i like the feeling of a man persuing me, it makes me feel feminine and secure.
