According to astrotheme, she is a full blown Cappy: Sun, Merc, Moon, Asc.

Also Mars in Virgo(and quite a few other planets there as well) and Venus in Pisces.

The reason she has that quirky, 'manic pixie dreamgirl' vibe is because of the aspects in her chart. She has a very strong Mercury/Uranus theme going on with her chart, so she's gives off the impression of a Librarian nerd (Capricorn) mixed together with some cutesy, offbeat, girlish chic (Like a Gemini/Aquarius). She also has a bit of a 'little girl lost' quality too her... This is probably from her Pisces Venus.

About the aspects... She has a Mercury/Asc conjunction at exactly 24 Capricorn (both placements, which are also conjunct her moon at 23 Capricorn), which is sextiled exactly by Uranus at 24 Scorpio.

I don't mind her, and I watch The New Girl. Schmidt is actually my favorite character, but Zooey's alright. I can understand how some could find her annoying, but hey, everyone whose famous is gonna have their haters.

This picture is just BAD though! Even with her goofy-girl thing Zooey dosen't usually look that silly.
