I LOVE Mercury in Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius and Libra.
Funny enough I like them best in certain Sun/mercury combinations.Sun in Cancer + Mercury in Gemini
Sun in Gemini + Mercury in Taurus
Sun in Virgo + Mercury in Libra

I'm a gemini sun with taurus mercury conjunct mars and ascendant, i do think in a VERY practical way, i tend to do things that some people find unusual because it's more practical than following the norms. And the mercury conjunctions make me quite competitive in conversations and debates.if i'd have to pick a favourite mercury placement it would have to be aquarius merc as they thend to be quite bright and i "get" their thinking. annother "mercurial" placement that i noticed makes for a sharp intellect is virgo moon.
