I don´t think that is an ideal situation to be honest, though if they put effort in it, neighbouring signs can learn a lot from each other. On their own though it is difficult to come to an understanding why the other person reacts the way they do, even more difficult since it relates to the emotional sphere. However, usually if it comes up in synastries of lasting relationship, there is something else that bridges the differences. Take the Newmans for example. While they had neighbouring Moon-signs, they actually had a mutual interchange of Sun and Moon. His Sun in Pisces - her Moon in Pisces his Moon and her Sun in Aquarius That is a vastly different situation than having only adjacent Moon-signs with nothing to balance it out. IP: Logged |

Yes, it probably helps with the DW Sun-Mars-square. lol
and others. Thy also have a DW of Venus-Jupiter-opposition, plus his Pluto conjuncts her Mercury-Venus-Mars-Pluto-stellium. But all in all the intense aspects seem to be well cushioned. IP: Logged |

Actually I think they are, even more incompatible than opposition especially. They have nothing in common, neither modality nor element and the elements are incompatible. However, unlike the square and opposition, they do not trigger similiar strong reactions in each other, and that might be the reason why it feels more harmonious, or actually it is easier to gloss over the differences and focus on some nicer things. While with the square and opposition, the focus is pretty much forced onto these areas, you can`t avoid them. IP: Logged |

I agree with both of you on this. And it shows again that you really have to take the whole into consideration not just puzzle pieces. My parents do not have Moon-aspects, though their Moon are both in earth signs, which helps quite a bit. Their Suns are square. However my Dad`s Moon is opposite my Mum`s Sun, which is pretty awesome actually. Especially since his Moon is in the 8th house (echoing my Mum`s Scorpio-Sun). Her Moon doesn`t have really "good" aspects tohis planets. Though her Moon is tightly sesisquare his Venus-Jupiter-conjunction (the 8th harmonic aspects really seem to vary some more attention than they are getting so far in my analysis, they crop up quite a lot. lol) (they have a Moon-Venus-Bear-hug) IP: Logged |

I don't normally look at these charts, I like to do it myself, on my own. The placement you gave was the one I took to be correct. That being said, it all depends on the aspects. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I agree. Moon and Sun should use wider orbs. IP: Logged |
