I've notice many famous scientists have Jupiter/Uranus aspects and the 8th House is really good for Science.I have Saturn there Oh and in Vedic I have Saturn in Aquarius in the 8th Rx. According to Vedic, that is the #1 exact placement for a scientist. I have Mercury in Virgo in the 3rd there too, that is also a good one for a scientist. I relate to my Vedic chart more than my Tropical.
hmm, i'm guessing 8th house repping science is a more popular interpretation in vedic? cause all i've heard in western astrology was that 8th house represented psychology, but then again.. i'm now studying anatomy and chemistry on a side note, saturn in 8th = long life apparently- lucky you! i've taken a look at my vedic chart and i somewhat relate to it but i feel that my western/tropical chart is more accurate. probably because i don't understand vedic completely. Yeah, that would be cool. I have Saturn in the 8th, but no aspects to Jupiter. Nor do I have a Jupiter/Uranus aspect (in case you misinterpreted what I said I had) My Saturn does sextile Uranus though. I actually want to become a Theoretical Physicist IP: Logged |

About Saturn in the 8th or Uranus/Jupiter aspect? Einstein had Jupiter in Aquarius in the 9th opposite Uranus in Virgo in the 3rd Rx. He also has Sun conjunct Saturn and Mercury. Saturn, Mercury, Sun and Venus are all in the 10th House. So Saturn being the significator of his career and he was one of history's greatest scientists. Sir Issac Newton has Jupiter trine Uranus and he was arguably history's greatest scientist. Also Jupiter conjunct Saturn, Sun sextile Jupiter, Saturn trine Uranus and Sun sextile Uranus, LOL. He also had Uranus in Scorpio (which is like the 8th House) and Pluto in the 8th House Charles Darwin is an Aquarius (Uranus) with a Pisces Mercury. (Neptune)(Einstein was a Pisces Sun) He also had Neptune in the 1st conjunct Sagittarius (Jupiter) Ascendant and Saturn in Sagittarius conjunct the Ascendant in the 12th (Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter) He also had Jupiter in domicile in Pisces conjunct Pluto in Pisces. His Uranus is also in Scorpio and in the 11th House. (Uranus, Pluto) Mars in the 10th too. See all of these connections for great scientists? So Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Jupiter and the 8th House seem to be the main points for great scientists. Neptune can as well because it gives them the reason to break out of the concrete and explore their imagination for ideas never thought to even exist. Saturn gives the work ethic and concentration, Uranus for brilliance of ideas and breakthroughs, Neptune for the imagination and Jupiter for the higher mind fluctuating all of this together and expanding it. While the 8th House and Pluto gives depth and research ability for all of it. (What's Science without research, right?) I'm sure there are more scientists, but those are the charts I've looked at so far. According to Vedic, Saturn being in the 8th is good for Science, Astrology, Psychology and any career with extensive research, focus and concentration, and Science uses all of those characteristics, which is why Saturn in the 8th is good for Science. This all seems a little scattered to me, sorry about that That's the first time I've done something this unorganized like this, lol. IP: Logged |

Well Saturn in the 8th because of the long hours of intensive research and concentration during scientific work. It being in Aqaurius makes this of course even better for Science. Also being Rx intensifies the effects of Saturn on you. IP: Logged |

Moon square uranus is pretty bad, i have it and every time my life is calm and i don't have any problems i always seem to do something really recless and crazy and get into some serrious trouble again, and this is a never ending cycle it seems. also makes for some crazy mood swings everything from being almost depressed to euphoric to not giving a flying f**k about annything(pardon my language).IP: Logged |

No. Jupiter is also in detriment in Gemini. Aquarius and Sagittarius are similar in lot of ways. Both like freedom, higher thinking, teaching, change, etc. IP: Logged |
