Hi! So as long as I remember, I have always been on diets loosing a whole bunch of weight then gaining it all back within a year. Is there anything in astrology that would say that a person has a tendency to do that? I just cant stick to a healthy life style because I feel like I have to live life to the fullest, and that means indulging to the max. I hate limiting myself. I have sun, mercury, mars and Jupiter in Sagittarius. Jupiter sextiles my moon, conjuncts my venus and mars and sextiles my ascendant. Also, my venus and mars conjunct. Am I doomed to live the rest of my life yo yo dieting like this?It seems like no matter what I do I always fall back into my lazy indulging life style. Does anyone else have these similar aspects and experience this problem?

I know two people who share some similar placements such as sun/moon/asc in sag and jupiter aspects some of their personal planets. They have a relaxed attitude but still keep themselves in check. As for the weight, it does seem that they gain weight quite easily. My cousin who is water dominant and has venus conjunct jupiter is like that too.

maybe just increase your activity! in sports or something so you get involved and don't even realize you're exercising. that way you can not focus so much on food and probably eat better in turn. either way - finding an activity you like to be active but not just being on a machine in the gym seems like it would be good for fellow fire signs.

I have this as well...while most people think I am rather trim, it takes a LOT of effort to stay that way. I have to constantly watch what I eat, or there seem to be disproportionate repercussions, compared to friends of mine. I have my Moon in Sag and Jupiter (as detailed below) is very active in my chart. Even though I am very frequently physically active, it doesn't seem to help much. If I just LOOK at food the wrong way, I seem to gain weight.

I have to be hyper vigilant about what I put in my mouth (lol), or any hard work I've put in...well, it doesn't do me any good! This generally means that I deny myself the pleasure of food, which is unfortunate, as I love to eat, and I hate denying myself experiences...But I'd rather be thin, haha

Jupiter aspects in my chart:
Jupiter quintile Sun
Jupiter inconjunct Moon
Jupiter sextile Mercury (chart ruler)
Jupiter trine Venus
Jupiter trine Mars
Jupiter opposite Uranus
Jupiter opposite Neptune
Jupiter square Ascendant
Jupiter conjunct Midheaven

Jupiter is also in mutual reception with my Moon.
Also, I'm not totally sold on the Chiron influence, but Chiron conjuncts my Jupiter, if that helps any, as well!

Sun -> Aries
Moon -> Sagittarius
Ascendant -> Virgo

I'm supposedly Jupiter dominant according to, but if weight is any measure of it, I think people with Sag luminaries or Sag Jupiter (or a whole bunch of Sag planets) would be more affected.

I've always been thin.

My list:

* Sag Venus-Neptune
* 9H Jupiter
* Jupiter trine ASC
* Jupiter tightly square sun
* Jupiter semisextile moon
* Jupiter exactly sextile Mars
^ and maybe that's where my weight loss happens
* Jupiter trine Neptune
* Jupiter opposing Pluto

jupiter = rules sag = usually sporty and fit people, so staying trim should be easy. I think Saturn-ruled people have an easy time being thin because of restrictions they likely place on themselves/diet, etc.

What could counter act on jupiter/cancer/taurus/pisces:

Sun-mars aspect - wanting to do excercise
A strong mars/aries/scorpio - physical strength
strong influenced by Mercury/gemini/virgo - eats little, restless energy

I think people with these traits prominent in their natal chart has a good chance of staying thin:S
