Oh. Dang, I thought you'd ask something creepy or really personal, haha. Well... I can't speak for every Scorpio (especially those who only have the Sun in Scorpio and no other planets or points there), but to me personally - it's about feeling things to a greater extent than most. It could be the Moon/Pluto aspect as well, but point is, I take things seriously, especially when it comes to feelings.
So if someone confesses their feelings to me, it feels important and I often exaggerate things in my mind - thinking in dramatic terms; when in fact, it's not that way.
And that's where tensions and hurt feelings can come from - I see most things in such a way that others may find 'too much' or dramatic, and if they brush it off like it's no big deal, that tends to make me feel very invalidated and disrespected. "Intense" can also refer to our great expectations from people... Most Scorpios have high standards and are quite demanding, which is hard to live up to for anyone, including ourselves (double standard, ouch). I'm don't fit the Venus/Uranus stereotype that much. I think I fall under Venus/Uranus in that:
1) I attract commitment phobic people, even though I desire commitment myself.
2) I am often labeled as 'unique' by those who are attracted to me (it is the one most frequent 'compliment' I get from men who are interested in me- my Uranus is in the first, so I think people see it easily).
3) I will not commit myself to someone unless I see there is a true desire on their end to commit to me as well- so if I see lots of wishy washy 'I don't really know what I want' kind of behavior, I'll make a graceful exit- and I do actually remain detached in THAT way. I actively don't play chase with people.
4) Someone here mentioned that we do not accept being dominated. This is true for me. I genuinely want an egalitarian relationship (which I do believe is ruled by Uranus, as it is out of the norm). I don't do the whole man dominates woman theme. I also do not want to dominate a man I am with. I believe in equal responsibility for each person's part of the relationship. IP: Logged |

Answering to the threads I was meant to a few days ago, but forgot  I have Venus/Asc conjunction in square with Uranus. Well, what can I say... Up to the age of 29 I didn't know what I wanted. I never had very long relationship. My longest one was 13 months, and the reason it survived this long was because we lived in different cities, and saw each other around 2 weekends a month It was fine actually, we talked, emailed, he even wrote me letters, which was quite sweet.
I broke it off, because I just got bored. Well, as soon as we got this "label", I started cooling down and had these "on/off" days, when I feel all in love, then the next day I couldn't look at him... My traits are: -like to be in a relationship
-relationships freak me out
-love surprises/unpredictability/spontaneous actions
-I was called "weird" many times
-I would have couple of new mini crushes per week., and I had like 3-5 big crushes at all times. They would rotate as well. I don't know what has changed, I'm not like that anymore. I mean, I find other people attractive, but I wouldn't go for the next step. Maybe because I'm in love now
-Everybody I met with this aspect have this magnetism. Hard to explain. Even when people are not exceptionally good looking, you are just captivated and intrigued. I think Venus sq Uranus is kinda like a Scorpio energy. You feel attracted to them, but you are a bit scared of them It can be a curse and a gift at the same time  IP: Logged |

I have Venus square Uranus (my chart ruler) and I'm VERY paradoxical about love matters...I can't help myself playing hot and cold every time, my 8th house Venus "just" freak out...sigh.IP: Logged |

This aspect can be modified. I've a friend with Leo Venus square Uranus but she's extremely extremely clingy and subservient. Whenever she gets into a relationship, her whole life revolves around them. Her Venus also conjunct Saturn, trine Neptune and sextile Pluto. IP: Logged |

Very unconventional and free spirited. I get bored easily. I either get attracted to someone right off the bat the it fades if you’re boring. Or I don’t like you at all then BOOM I love you.I have the sextile. But I have other Uranus aspects that contributes IP: Logged |

The easy aspects aren’t problematic it’s the hard ones. I’ve been told that it’s best to be with someone who has Venus/Uranus in their own chart if you have it.IP: Logged |

Doux Rêve you just described me to a T! Not only do I have a Scorpio stellium in my first house, there is my Ascendant. I have Venus in Libra in the 11th house which must feel the effects oh the Aquarius house ruler co-mingled with Libre. I can easily, and usually do, detach. IP: Logged |
