Thus, you are the 6th house in your boss' chart.

I don't agree.

I think the 6th house relates to BOTH people who serve us (like an employee of ours), and how we in turn provide a service (how we act doing our duty and chores).

The 6th house relates to daily routines and duties that we need to do in order to survive, like maintaining our health, bathing, organizing our affairs, and turning up to work and doing our job.

The 6th house can relate to our personal health, as well as the person who treats our personal health (like a doctor).

All the houses are like this. They don't just function in one direction. They function in several different ways with regard to the same themes and life areas.

The 6th is house how we receive service, and how we give it.

The 10th house is similar. The 10th can show how we experience authority, and also how we act when we in turn have the authority.

Agreed!!

Both my parents are Cancer suns and there suns land in my 6th house.

Just getting the basic amenities out of them always turns into something like a
a free trade agreement between two countries or I'd have to barter something in exchange.

Eventually, I'd said forget it...and have learned to do most things myself and not to rely on them unless its really necessary.

Believe it or not both my parents once purchased me a car. They didn't tell me at the time but they wanted me to meet someone, get married and have kids...they somehow figured that would happen if I got a car.

I returned it to them and said I did not agree to this!!!.

If they wanted me to get married and have kids then they should be convincing me families are there to help each other not to exchange services and expectations from each other.

My 10th house is on a Virgo/Libra cusp
and I've had both signs recommend me.

What surprises me is how Virgo bosses have always said good things about me, there among the most difficult bosses to please.

This. I think the 6th House can reflect the general work environments that we create, and find ourselves in, but not so much indicative of authoritative figures within that environment. Like you said, that would more so be determined by our Saturn placement, and beyond that the condition of our 10th House to a certain extent.

I have experienced good and bad bosses.

I have moon conjunct Pluto in the 6th house.

I experienced good bosses from 2010-16. Other wise I would not of bothered to continue in this field.

2016-18. I had one of those chill/zen bosses. But really what it all boiled down to was money profit making the parents(customers) happy, over the teachers happiness.
This boss was terrible at conflict resolution too! She would do what was called a peace meeting. Basically if people issues with each other she would have them talk it out. It did nothing. It just enforced that the two people did not like each other, and it made other people obligated to pick sides. And feel in the middle of it. She tolerated workplace bullying. And though she was not the one being mean to me, she still would not move me when I asked to be moved from a hostile co-worker classroom.
One time this boss challenged me to "get a new job" if I don't like it. When an accusation was made about me from another staff member.
I did, and she asked me if I wanted to back last summer.

My boss now, is great at making the staff happy by: No forced overtime, summer camp is only two weeks, and teachers can choose if they want to do it or not.
However she is very high-strung. She has a controlling personality. Does not let the assistant director do very much. She wants to do everything herself, and would rather come in at 4am to get work done than have more help.
This can make her have a b!+chy personality to staff at times.
This school year I felt like she was trying to project how inadequate she felt on to me.
She told me she would love to have me back next year. And I had to hold back from saying "eff you, you sure have a funny way of showing that."

Coming back I feel like I'll be more like go ahead and try me, because I'll with school and have a lot more free time to look for a new job. Even if her behavior improves with me I cannot forget.

I am contemplating reporting her behavior to the church board. (her super visors) It's her turn to have some more supervision on her, than she likes. Or putting it in my letter of resignation, and sending it to the board that she is the reason I left.

Basically she makes me grateful for social distancing.
