Are bosses really sixth house? I thought they would be more Saturn and where it is in your chart. Saturn by sign and house would be your taskmaster, whether you are talking about parents, teachers or bosses, anyone who has authority over you. A busy Saturn in a chart might indicate someone who does better as their own boss.IP: Logged |

I try to stay at jobs where I feel respected by my supervisor(s), and where I feel that there is a good rapport. I've had some bad ones (i.e. completely mental and toxic), and I've had no problem walking out the door and going elsewhere when that happens.Mars in Capricorn and Mercury/Part of Fortune in Aquarius rule my 6th (although Mercury is on the cusp of 7th). I have Saturn in 11th. Now that I think of it, I do work in social services, and when I haven't been in that type of work I've at least stuck with supervisors who demonstrated the social and ethical values associated with Aqua and 11th.
But then again, it could be my Aqua in 6th as well. Maybe it's just a double whammy (in a good way).  IP: Logged |

Gemini is on my 6th house cusp. Mercury is 12th house conjunct sun.Saturn in the 1st conjunct ascendant. I do well with bosses, co-workers, teachers..etc...who are professional, not over-bearing and nit-picky. In the bad cases, I've had bosses who let their personal lives affect their work attitude too much. And bosses who didn't value my independence and responsibility. The good bosses have been objective, empathetic people who treated everyone fairly. None of them have been terribly incompetent, although some have had their issues or drawbacks. Most of them have been Sags for some reason, although my current supervisor is a Leo. She has some control issues and can focus on unimportant details vs the important stuff, but she does a fairly good job most of the time. The worst have been people who have worked at mental health places who either acted at least as mentally chaotic as the clients, or had absolutely no idea what they were doing and didn't care. Some were actually disrespectful in the way that they talked about the clients to other staff or had no professional boundaries, which made me want to backhand them. bosses freaking love me. i mean, i've had one brat but that was at a different job.. an hour away from my hometown and i really think i was meant to quit so i'd move back to my area. my current boss will admit i boss him around. he's actually not even my direct supervisor if we wanted to be technical - he's my supervisor's boss but i forego that whole middle guy. he loves me. i was going to go to a different site and he fought like hell to keep me. he also sings my praises to anyone higher than him to help in my advancement. and all of them love me too. i have one guy in human resources that is against me but my boss and his superiors fight with him on it -- because he isn't even in operations. my boss is sagittarius with a direct trine to my sun. he's a leo moon so i think i naturally dominate him being a leo. he listens to my feedback, lets me take on whatever projects i want to, and we can joke around like he's my friend. he tells people one day i will have his job. he's a great guy - just a little scattered with that mutable sun and fiery chart. my 6th house is ruled by aries. with mars in 5th. my moon in taurus is in my 6th. my 10th house is ruled by leo - with sun and mercury conjunct MC from the 9th. my saturn is in sagittarius in 2nd conjunct uranus opposite venus.

However my current boss has my respect.

I don't like boss at all. If someone try to boss me , all I 'll have to do is fight or flee . I'm not get along very well with supervisor , I don't like to much authority put on the work's atmosphere .
Oopss ..saturn in 1st here , 5th cusp is capricorn
Saturn conjunct AC/sun , square moon SSS describes my situation quite well , i don't think boss is 6th house too , 6th H should be the task, daily duty imo. boss/authority should related to 10th, capricorn, saturn. IP: Logged |

You wouldn't think that about a sixth house ruled by Pisces with an afflicted Neptune since all is one and I am supposed to commune through work. Oh this is my dream. But I am so perplexed by first making that leap; disappointing others, failing, regretting etc. I feel I have so much more to offer as a self-sufficient human person than one that answers to others. I have big dreams , big ideas and ones that involves communication, travel and idea dispersion. But, like most mutable house placements, I live too much in my head and don't get started. My Boss experiences haven't been that great. The ruler of my 10th house(Uranus) is in the 7th house. I often feel like they are too "dependent" and like to look good. SSS, I've always read that Pisces is a good sign to potentially go into your own business. I personally don't care for the idea, although I might do it anyway for a few reasons.But anyway, I remember reading in Linda Goodman's Sun Signs that Pisces will often go into business for themselves, or feel inclined to do so, as they don't like the constraints of having other people tell them what to with their lives...they just need to have other aspects in their charts to help with managing their finances, etc. IP: Logged |

I have a 6th house stellium in Scorpio & Libra is the ruler of my 6th house I believe.. I've only had two jobs so far (not counting my current one because I just started) and both jobs have been rocky when it came to my managers. My first job was extremely stressful because I went through literally 3 sets of managers in 1 year but one manager stayed and caused me the most hell & come to find out, he was a Scorpio as well. Me and him had a rocky start (arguments, jealousy, hate, etc) but he ended being the one that looked out for me the most & taught me everything I know! My second job was short lived because that manager had control issues and he felt like He could get me to do above and beyond my call of duty because I was new. He got a rude awakening when I quit without warning a month later. This new job is great but it's the first time I've had female managers and all female coworkers and the solar eclipse in Scorpio occured in 6th house this last time so hopefully this will be a very positive experience.IP: Logged |

I get a bizarre 'assistant' or 'helpmate' vibe when someone's personal point - like Sun, Moon, Merc, or Venus - is in my 6H. Doesn't really matter who they are; I'm suddenly 'of assistance' to them. And I'm not 'of assistance' to anybody! ;pIP: Logged |

My Saturn is RIGHT ON THE EDGE of house 10/11. (technically in 10 and empty 6th) Saturn makes no contacts to personal planets. I've often worked with the public for most jobs and I haaaaaaaated it! I jumped from job to job a lot.
6 years ago I found this job which I have zero contact with the public. It's just perfect. Challenging, learning something constantly, boss is very easy going but also very very smart. MOST coworkers are helpful. We watch out for each other - a very nice "team" atmosphere. - Very happy. It's a rumor mill in other areas as I've stated in another post but I don't mind the drama. Some of it is true. It's like the love connection here and home wrecking. People going out with each other, cheating with someone else at work. Blah! I just mind my own business. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in h10, and sun moon,merc mars in h6 My bosses always love me I always have good bosses. I have a special relationship with my current boss, nothing romantic, just a special friendship..
He's a gem... With a Scorpio moon Everyone says, I'm the "only" person that can work with him.
He's brutally honest, and has no filter on what he's thinking..

I know the name of this thread is 'Boss Experiences and Your Sixth House', but it just occurred to me that our boss probably does experience us acting out our 6th house... The 6th house is our style of performing daily duties and routines.I have Taurus on my 6th house, and I like a steady routine. I think the 6th house shows the details of our work, but the 10th house shows our overall reputation at work, and where we shine (or look not so good) as some type of example. I have Virgo on the 10th house and I really like to keep my personal area at work organized. Saturn is conjunct my Mc and I'm well known for being reliable (I guess Taurus fits here too), and responsible. IP: Logged |

Yeah that makes sense. Pisces on the cusp of sixth would mean I am probably not the best employee because Pisces isn't exactly compatible with the sixth house, it belongs to the twelfth. Even when I try, it seems others have the edge. I never feel quite up to par so that's why I like being on my own. I still think one's attitude toward authority is more about the sun and Saturn, maybe Mars. Someone with sun trine Saturn or conjunct Saturn is gonna naturally feel like they are better than their boss and kinda resent they aren't in charge of themselves. We feel we could do better and covet the role of the authoritarian. It's natural when Saturn aspects the sun, maybe ascendant ruler, too, which, in my chart, Saturn aspects both. It's a sign of someone who wants to run their own business and make decisions for oneself. IP: Logged |

6th house has nothing to do with your boss. Your boss, any people of high standing or authority is the 10th. The 6th house is not the service you can provide but the servants that service YOU - your pool guy, the person serving you in the shop, the person coming to renovate your kitchen, the person who opens a door for you. Thus, you are the 6th house in your boss' chart.IP: Logged |
