I'm not implying that this makes sense (I don't know lol)The ones I know have fire in either Mars or Venus. That's just what I've observed. IP: Logged |

A pretty woman who knows how to smile...- There are tons of indicators that could make a woman a "charmer". Venus heavily aspected, a prominent Neptune / Pisces influence, Moon / Venus aspects, Venus or ASC in aspect to the outer planets... Some people like Air influence, others Water, others Fire or Earth... to each their own. There are many possibilities.
But generally speaking, she'd have a prominent "feminine" energy - Moon, Venus, Neptune, Water signs and Taurus / Libra. IP: Logged |

I think this thread seems to be about beautiful or desirable in a woman. And I took this topic as a mans lady. I think it's similar to what placements make a charmer for a man!Sagittarius, Libra, Gemini personal planets. IP: Logged |

Ahhh yeah, if we're talking about the "player" type, I could see that. Too bad those are actually some of my fave planetary energies in people. Whyyyy

I have been told I am charming & my smile can light up a room. I am not exquisitely beautiful. I have 7HPisces Moon widely opposing Virgo ASC. Moon squares Saggitarian Neptune that is conjunct Venus which is conjunct Scorpio IC. Also I have 2H Libra Sun-Uranus conjunction. Venus also sextiles 5H Aquarius Jupiter. I have had 3 proposals, 2 engagements, 1 marriage, & 1 divorce. Let me tell you, there is no thornless bed of roses to soften your fall when that illusory pedestal of the other's design dissolves.------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Cancer and Libra influence can be very charming.. But players are not just charming people. They're f-ed in the head and they are passive-aggressive lolFor women - I am going with Aries Venus retrograde and hard Mars/Pluto aspects. And more generally.. people who don't have a very good understanding of the opposite sex and who are kind of afraid of the opposite sex.. and feel out of control --- can behave this way. So for the fear and lack of understanding - I could go with Venus square Mars as well.. or maybe Venus square Saturn.. IP: Logged |

I think the difference for women is that they got to have a well placed mercury, so they are able to turn on a man intellectually, or you know… have a lot going on at the same time with different males Mercury in good aspect with sun, moon or venus is perfect for this, feeling comfortable with communication and being open-minded And girls who has a clever come-back is always very attractive for males I've noticed!? I've heard venus conjunction pluto, or jupiter trine venus, And if it's combined with uranus influence I think it makes you tired of men! I have this and I get tired of men real fast, if someone has to keep my interest he has to be real hot and unique lol:PI'm virgo with cancer rising and libra mercury, scorpio venus in 5th house conjunct pluto in 5th and trine jupiter…. and the thing is I have libra in 5th house, so I've been told this is a real charming aspect^^ IP: Logged |

Ok that really do sound like some unique chart though, I can understand all those men, even when I don't know who you are and how you look, but I bet it is really special!

Thank you but I must clarify my background, placing the comment in context. Thrice before had I wanted to marry women I truly loved but it was a matter of their parents objecting about: (1) race, (2) religion and (3) social class, and a combination thereof. My wife came along and all four parents were unequivocal in their objections. Our response was: (1) don't give us the time of the day because your watch is busted and tells the wrong time, and (2) don't give us a dime because all you have is a dime, but check out our stack of dollars. If you don't want to bless this marriage, that's fine. We will vow that you'll never ever hold your grandchildren. And guess what? We're going to be more successful that you've ever dreamed to be, and you can go take care of yourselves when you're old and haggard. If I ever dwell in the depths of hell, I know that only one person besides God will save me. I married her. IP: Logged |

I don't think the same type of charm (or the same aspects/signs/elements) create the same effect in a woman as they do in a man. Yes, anyone with Venus/Moon aspects will probably be quite charming. But to be a "player" as woman, you need to be more than charming. Allure, seductiveness, and the ability to walk away at the drop of a hat. Neptune/Pisces Sun is my first and foremost answer here. Only because we are often mistake for timid, demure creatures who can barely speak for themselves. Damsel in distress if you will. When in reality this could be (and most likely is) just a ploy to get her way. And I've seen it a thousand times "Oh my gosh I just can't do this, I need a big strong man to help me! Whatever shall I do?" (within earshot of said guy she's trying to get the attention of) "Oh hey, let me help you with that..." And now he's where she wanted him, close enough to her that the possibility of her even brushing up against him is all he can think about. The only downside to Neptune being involved (on even the most basic of levels) is that there is the tendency to be in love with a fantasy and therefore the ability to walk away isn't always there. I also want to mention Aqua and Leo here. Most Leo women (ASC/Sun/Moon) I know have had/will have the chance to be with almost any man she chooses. And it's Leo's right, she is Queen after all But it's the same air of confidence and character that attracts men to her that allows the lioness to leave any time she pleases. Aquarius has the ability, too. I don't know any Aqua risers, just Suns/Moons, but they all seem to be able to wrap men around their fingers just by giving them the time of day. Then in true Aqua fashion: "Oh, you thought I was in love with you? I thought we were just friends. No hard feelings, right, buddy?" IP: Logged |

I agree with this Odette, and I would say that it is true for both male and female "players." It is like there is a disconnect between their understanding that all people have feelings and needs, and that the opposite sex is actually more similar than different. It truly is a lack of empathy on some basic levels, and the need for the attention, approval, and validation of the people around them on other levels. I'm not even going to try and pigeon hole this tendency into an astrological aspect, because I believe that all types are capable of it. As an additional note, with women who seem to have this tendency, I often see it with women who are so beautiful they were never able to truly be friends with men on any level, because the vast majority of men have pursued them throughout their lifetime. As a result, there is actually a major lack of trust on their part when a man actually is just trying to be friendly with them, which can sometimes come across as either standoffish (Ugh, get away from me- an assumption) OR as arrogance (That guy SOOO wants me, let me show you how much he wants me- even when he doesn't initially, but may be flattered by the attention). Frequently, these women have trouble making any type of true friendships with both men and women. (So, in an odd way, I actually sometimes feel sorry for them, depending on the situation). When I go out with a certain friend of mine, the two of us attract a great deal of male attention. Sometimes she gets more, sometimes I get more. I don't just mean we just get hit on, rather strangers will have a sort of "love-at-first-sight" for one of us. They'll be overcome with a sense of mission to get to know us.I've almost always been aware of the effect that I can have on men, but until meeting her I never knew anyone who the same kind of pull as I do. As I've gotten to know her better, we have both had very storied love lives with many great affairs. We move at similar speeds and get along fabulously because of this. Looking at her chart, there are some similarities. I am a Pisces sun, Aquarius moon, Libra rising. She is a Taurus sun, Pisces moon, and though I don't know her asc. I'm willing to bet that it is either Libra or Taurus. (Edit: just asked her for her birthtime, she is indeed a Libra rising!! Only confirms my suspicions ) I think this combo of Pisces and Venus influence is key here, makes us seem ethereal and otherworldly. Also, both of us have a great deal of air influence in our personal planets. Thus there is a certain composure that we have over our own feminine wiles. We are not wildly aggressive, exceedingly sentimental, or immoderately practical. We see and we understand, and manage to stay above it all.
