Be skeptical of the yourself when you start losing emotions, you know what you need, your an intelligent person, if there is no real, obvious reason for a change in your emotions and that cold feeling comes on...then you can know, thats the sign, your virgo is analyzing at that moment and its not allowing your genuine feelings to flow, what you feel at that moment is not truly how you feel!

That is when virgo becomes such a healing powerful energy, its the helper(ruling 6th house) of the zodiac because once it can feel emotions and still look at them logically, it has a huge understanding of the underlying patterns that make emotions irrational, but it can do that and see those patterns without becoming irrational itself.

Just try to stay warm and virgo can be such a powerful loving energy...if not, well everyone got sick of 'Spock' (Star Trek) and didnt want to listen eventually...if he had delivered his logic in a more human way...people would have been able to appreciate and digest his logic much easier!

Eventually you can get the cold of Virgo to go away by helping it see how emotions will bring intelligence when used correctly and teach Virgo to use your emotions in its logically decisions!

My advice is to go connect with your emotions and then start being as vocal as possible about it even if it feels unnatural at first....eventually it will feel good, safe and logical!
