I didn't know the guy was 40, he looked damn good for his age.

I looked at the transits and its a little eery: His natal Moon opposes transiting Mars and natal mercury conjunct transiting Mars.

What is so haunting about this is X-astrology files description of the natal mercury conjunct transiting Mars aspect;

Transiting Mars conjunct your natal Mercury. This can be a time of touchy irritability. Little nuisances seem like big deals under this transit. If you are working in an office environment, get ready to deal with a lot of complaints from angry customers. It is often a time when you wish to persuade others of the rightness of your point of view, or you may have to contend with others trying to persuade you in like manner. Died in a Porsche Carrera GT - EXTREMELY twitchy car. It grips and grips and when it lets go... there's no saving it.

It's always tragic no matter the person.

Thoughts are with those families.

Both guys had marriage (Sun-Venus) aspects.

Walker had pSun conjunct nVenus @ 28 Libra.

Rodas' pVenus had recently crossed over from Libra into Scorpio. pVenus at 1 Scorpio was moving to conjunct nSun @ 7 Scorpio.

I was hit off my two-wheeler twice when Venus progressed into Cancer. Accidents took place with pVenus was in the 0 - 1 degree range.

His time of birth is unknown, so I am not able to see where these aspects fell. Anyway, this is what I noticed: He has natal Uranus at 21 degrees of Libra and Mars at 8 degrees of Taurus.

The full moon eclipse of October 18 triggered his Uranus, and the new moon eclipse of November 3 triggered his Mars.

[Uranus-Mars square are more involved in the charts of the actual vehicle drivers. Paul was a passenger here. The driver, hjis friend Roger Rodas has Uranus trine Mars near exact, but Mars and NESSUS are conjunct. Too much energy.
And Tr Pluto was square Rodas Natal Pluto exact. Heavy Transformation Stress in his life. North Node Transit bang on his Sun, indicating a possible past life desire to have an "Exit Point" during heavy stress. He even has Uranus square Saturn in his Natal. ]

Creepy Transits in the sky were Pluto conjunct KAALI exact, and in the Draconic Saturn of 30th November conjunct Tropical Uranus while square Pluto. This dynamic is part of Typhoon Haiyyan, and Paul was working for the victims of that killer typhoon.

I am not good with progressions and solar arc. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

If we knew his time of birth, then we would know for certain where these triggers fell. I am guessing that they might have happen in the 8th/1st/12th houses.

I was completely shocked when I heard of his death last night! Terribly sad! I loved his FF movies & he was a stunningly gorgeous man.

Are you comfortable with 4 degree orb with the eclipses? He was born during full moon, he was probably more sensitive to the eclipses.

Both saPluto (13 Scorp) & Saturn(13 Leo) would be triggered by the November eclipse = it does mirror natal potential given by Sat Sq Pluto.

If you go back and look at the lunar eclipse of October 18, we can see that it fell on his natal uranus, while the transiting Uranus was OPPOSING his natal Mars. Sort of a triple whammy.

Again, not knowing his exact time of birth, we don't really know in which houses these aspects fell in. So these are just speculations.

ETA: More Mars info: Walker had just gone through a transit of Mars conjunct sun, and transit Mars was approaching a conjunction to his natal mercury.

I too had near death experiences with Sun-Venus, and at the above mentioned pVenus changing signs. Tzar Nicholas II of Russia was murdered as his pVenus hit 0 degree.

re: pVenus conjunct nSun @ 18 Gemini. For me this was around 1995 & 1996. The first incident ('95) took place in a water park. I fell off a ride & not knowing how to swim the lifeguards had to fish me out - I was certain it was the end. The second incident ('96) I was in the ocean, again zero swimming experience, when a current sucked me out. Kids younger than me were around and pride didn't allow me to yell for help. Don't know how I got out of that situation, but the instant I caught my footing I was outta there.

In an obituary of a kid hit off his motorcycle by a driver who ran a red light, these aspects showed up. The victim had:

pSun @ 4 Pisces conj nVenus @ 5 Pisces. pVenus @ 1 Aries, pMars @ 29 Pisces.

The driver had pSun @ 16 Capricorn conj nMars @ 16 Capricorn.

Speculation: Venus killed the Sun.

In the Solar Cycle (the four seasons) in the Northern Hemisphere, when the Sun reaches the Libra/Venus equinox it is judged & executed. Pluto/Scorpio/Undertaker do not take lives, they take souls - or bury the dead.
