The only "Libran" quality I can identify with is an instinctive need for balance and equality.
Which is what the scales are all about, right?
I'm not the sweetest girl you'll ever meet nor am I domestic.
We constantly want to balance point of views even if this upsets others.
I'm not sure why people think Libra is a passive peace loving sign, maybe Taurus?
Perhaps because the sun is debilitated in Libra can cause a loss of self.
Granted I have Scorpio Asc with a stellium with a Sag moon.
However I still have libra sun, Jupiter and Venus in my chart.
Personally I strongly identify with Gwen Stefani from her No Doubt days.
Gwen has Sun conjunct Jupiter in Libra too.

I love Libras!

To me they are just extremely fun! We love to be silly together.

You're right though. They are not afraid to "do battle". They certainly will speak up, no problem. The ones I have known get a little bossy even.
With me, it usually leads to love but JUST falls short of working out.

The balance part I've never been able to see clearly. But as a Libra rising myself, I have noticed one trait.
The Libras I've known and myself as an Ascendant. I've noticed that they will work extremely hard - whatever it takes - to achieve what they want. Yet, sometimes are the laziest people on earth!
I guess it balances out.

Oh I'm not bossy that will simply not do!
That's probably my Venus coming out.

Personally it's hard for me be accommodating and peaceful in intense situations because mercury is sandwiched between mars and pluto, so I'm just spiting fire and venom.
I try, I really do just as a form of politeness to avoid unnecessary drama but I have to grit my teeth and bite my lips.
Not too lazy, I think the scorpio in me goes into tunnel vision?

The ascendant is your life, right?
So perhaps your lesson to learn balance and social decorum.
No offense to you personally but I often find libra asc to be very phony sneaky.
Alyssa Sharpe's video on libra asc is accurate, check it out if you haven't

I am Libra dominant and I argue a lot but I like to have emotional balance. That's my primary goal in life, keeping the emotions in equilibrium.

You don't identify with it as much as you're plutonian so you might act more like a scorpio.
Mars conjunct mercury and mars conjunct pluto usually point to someone that are quite 'bitey' in speech and argumentative.

I've actually watched that a lot. LOL!

No offense. I can't really argue against that.
I'm very very honest but yes, can be phony and sneaky. It's usually with specific intent to bite later. Usually not to win favor or carry on a friendship, etc. Not to "kiss *** at work or anything. I don't do that.

Unless charm counts? I turn it on heavy if I'm romantically interested! I don't believe it sneaks past anyone really, but still gets to them even if they don't fully go for it.

EDIT: One Astrologer I know said it well. Yes, Libras love to have peace. However, it's a bit of a paradox. Sometimes you have to fight for peace.

Oh and maybe you find it hard to balance yourself because dsc is in aries, your shadow side.
Libra asc must be difficult because because asc is at home in Aries?

I'm bit like Alyssa actually, I think she has Mercury and Venus in Libra.
Though a lot more high energy but she has a Taurus Moon

I don't need complete emotional balance, which would allude to peace on earth lol. Which is Taurus imo, completely placid, laid back, and just happy.
My moon is in Sag.
The moon is primarily indicates your emotions sometimes I can be crazy and desire spontaneity, I tend to be very emotionally expressive and extreme.
Sometimes I can find myself in strange affairs and situations.
However my lifestyle is not excessive at all and I attribute this to Libra suns balance in a tangible sense.
Ironically i find my expressive emotions and "balanced" lifestyle makes me a more balanced and interesting libra at the end of the day.

That reminds me, I have a Taurus moon so maybe that plays into it as well? Taurus and Libra together?

I really like Alyssa. Her pMoon must be in Gemini, because suddenly I want to watch all her videos. I've noticed this trend with people I become really interested in on YT. I'm a Gemini. awwww, Remy.

re: Libra Asc. I think both signs in a house will describe the behavior and theme of that house. The first sign will be obvious and dominant, but the second sign will also show itself.

Libra Asc most likely have Scorpio as part of the first houses. Thus Libra will set the tone of the personality, as well as give us the house/chart ruler. But you bet Scorpio intensity is very much part of a Libra Rising personality, this because it's part of the first house.

I, of course, have Pluto in Libra, so chances are I'm projecting unto the sign.

Wow, never thought of that. My pluto is also Libra, conjucnt asc. Good points!

I don't know if I should name names or not. I suppose it can't hurt because I mention her with positive intentions and thoughts.

Barbie (LL user if you don't know) is what I see a Libra as. But she has a Libra stellium if I remember. I don't actually talk to her much at all but she seems really fun.

She claims to have Taurus moon and apparently she's a lot more shy in real life.
It's probably the sag MC we are detecting from her.
Maybe that is why we vibe well to her too.
Your gemininess picks up on Sag and just vibes well with my Sag moon.
I wonder if her mc conjuncts my Moon and NN.

good friend of mine is a Libra and we get along famously.

He's the sort that the scales are not always in balance, when something is out of line he'll just call it out.

Otherwise get along with Libras famously as a saggie, few other signs I'd like to hang out with..maybe geminis..perhaps.

Libra love the sort of Saggie brilliance, Saggies love the the Libra's tolerance of our mutable natures

I like Libras with Scorpio Mercury a lot.
I won't say Libras are dishonest (it's not what I think) but I feel that Scorpio Mercury make them mind their own words a lot more, which is important for me.
Actually it might be my favorite Sun/Mercury combination of the whole zodiac.
With Sun/Mercury Libras, it's more like we have nothing in common and are not interested in each other, except when they have the Pluto-Mercury conjunction.

I love Libras, and almost always get along with them! They are probably the most easy-going and charming of all the sun signs, at least as far as my own interactions with them go. Then again, I myself have a Libra Ascendant.

My exboyfriend was a Libra with his venus in Libra. He loved the sh*t out of me, was deeply compassionate, intelligent, and meditative. But also very conflicted (his moon is Aries, opposite his sun).

If I were to give a quick over-generalized description of a Libra, it'd be:
-attractive, easy-going, pleasant aura
-appreciates beauty
-interested in discussion, other viewpoints. curious.
-lovers at heart
-thinks too much; acts only after much deliberation. if a libra acts without thinking, they will think EXTRA hard about it later.

As a fellow Libra ASC, I do agree.

I can work super hard! I know how to achieve my goal. But I play hard too - I'll be as lazy as I damn well please during those times!

I've known two types of Libras over the years, and they're very different. The first is what people think of Libras...graceful, harmonious, at ease, smiling, friendly. The second kind is bombastic, combative, belligerent, and all for no seeming reason. I don't know what affliction the second type has, but I've known several.

Ive libra AC conjunct Pluto/Venus
Saggy Sun/Merc/Neptune
Virgo Moon

I see Libra as all about love and making the environment beautiful and pleasant for the ppl we love. We dont like disagreements, or feeling like someone is getting screwed over...but i dont know if we feel as strongly as taurus, i do think we are easier to be in a relationship with because we are less stubborn, more accommodating and because we are so social, we can talk out issues instead of being cold and distant and shut everyone out, like a taurus.
