Do you date a lot or find it hard to meet people?

when people have planets in this house their identity is percepted through a relationship. They have no free will. Their urge to be with someone is greater. They simply feel incomplete. People with no planets in 7th house simply don't feel that need. They can be in a relationship if they want to but there is no urge. They already have an identity. (Planets in 1st house)

Neither. Some times I feel the need to be with someone and share affection, but I don't really crave companionship. I prefer being alone than in a relationship that is not fulfilling.

What does the ruler of your 7th do?
My ruler of 7th, uranus, conjuncts IC, trines Venus (ruler of 10th), sextiles jupiter(ruler of 5th) and saturn.
So I guess there is a balance.

Rosalind - is there still a strong sense of identity if there are no planets in the 1st either?

twinkly - it doesn't do anything. I have Mars conj. my ASC, which obv. means it opposes my DSC, but that's about it. Moon is semi-square my ASC too… does that mean it's semi-quincunx my DSC? I have Moon in Taurus and Sag DSC.

.....?

O_O

Right.

I don't think a sense of identity gets much stronger than mine and I have basically no desire for a relationship - although I love many men and women. I just don't feel like I care so much about romance, in general - whatever happens, happens.
Dating seems meh to me.

My Sun's dispositor - is Mars conj Neptune in the 7th - and my Moon is also in the 7th. All in Capricorn

No. If the axis 1-7 is empty there are no karmic lessons or focus regarding the relationship you have with YOU (1st) and OTHERS (7th). You are complete.

ooo Sag DC. You'll be more drawn to foreigners.

Where does your Jupiter point to? That points to the place you'll find love.

@Odette I missed that "no free will" part. Lol, I'm all Aries. I definitely have free will, but I concede my want for a relationship is greater. I love romance and the whole torrid affair bit, at least for a short while. (Venus in Aries square Neptune)

It's in the 12 house in Gemini, and is quincunx my Pisces MC.

Yeah… I'm not drawn to foreigners. There's some that are attractive but all I've ever wanted was a white boyfriend.

Okay, yes they can, but that's not what immediately comes to my mind when I think foreigners. You're right though. So Sag DSC can point to long distance relationships?

Hmmm..I have a 7th house stellium ( although it eerily becomes a 8th house stellium in equal houses). I have no URGE to date. I can remain single for years until I find someone I hit it off with. I have an identity alright, although I do exhibit the characteristics of my 7th house stellium while being in a relationship as opposed to not being in a relationship, that's when I feel my ascendant the most. In a relationship am a different person. As for feeling incomplete, that's an expression that I hear often from people who are looking for their soul mate, someone with whom they want to live their life with, not necessarily people who have a packed 7th house. Everybody has free will including 7th housers. We just tend to think about our significant other more I guess when we decide on things. I think the fact that personal planets are found on the opposite axis to the ascendant, 7th house people find it a bit difficult to differentiate what is best for them and when they are being taken for granted.

I have no planets in the 7th but Jupiter in 1st house Cancer. I have no desire to date, but when the right one comes, I love to be in a relationship.

So Jupiter in the 1st, does that mean I have karma to learn to love myself?

Empty 7th house. I have no interest in dating. I leave the rest to the universe.

Nope, it's not really hard to find people. Sometimes I simply don't care enough to date.

I should also clarify I don't desire to casually date. Moreso I have a strong desire for the right one (not to be confused with the myth of "The One"!) I have Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in my 7th house, but they're in Capricorn.

is your 7th house sagittarius too? If yes, it's jupiter. If no, check the 7th house ruler.

Empty 7th and 1st house, though Venus is parallel my DSC. I really want a relationship, but I've realized I still have things about myself to work on - the partner would have to be very mature and understanding.

That aside, I've always loved romance, had plenty of interest and tend to mirror myself to others, am always relating to them - more too much than too little. I hate being single. It's definitely not that I don't care, I just find it hard to find a relationship.

Empty 7th here

I DEFINITELY care and want a relationship. I don't want to date though.
I'm more or less just waiting for the right person to fall into my lap and it to be very light, natural, and flowing.

Have had quite a few relationships but nothing in the last few years.

I have an empty 7th house.

I think in a lot of ways I can as worse as a Libra.
It's not that I don't have a sense of self or I'm co-dependent
Actually I have too much of it to pass around.
I just have a highly developed and active love nature and I need to constantly express affection and intimacy.

I don't think it's unusual at all for humans
Yet I don't try and trick myself into thinking I don't need relationships because it seems weak, I would be denying myself something I desire which is intimacy.
That seems very silly to me.

I do get the shady/subtle backlash from the constant single types who assume I'm codependent or something.

I've never thought you are co-dependent. Seeking a partner is not co-dependent. Relying on the wrong one and feeling like you cannot let go is. Also, it's a matter of feeling like you have to be there for a destructive person, to kinda put together the pieces or save them somehow, when it's you who ends up getting destroyed in the long run. I hope you aren't like this.

Hmm In love I can see myself doing that if they are going through a rough time..
I'm kinda ride and die in that way...

Luckily for me love is something that happens often, so I'm not one of those people who actively seek out "projects" to love and fix.
That's just hot mess of a relationship, yes I have been attracted to people I ought to avoid but it's more like thrill seeking.

I suppose a partnership or a union is important in some respects but I don't mind living apart even having a detached relationship, where we do our own things.
As long there is a lot of affection, Intimacy and love.
