Lets say if you have 12th house ruler conjunct sun is that similar to having neptune conjunct sun?
Or 11th house ruler conjunct sun=Uranus.

I'm not sure how to interpret house rulers in aspect to other planets. Is like like having the sun in that house?

I think this is a good question... SOOO contribute because I need to know.

Do you have any planets in conjunction to your sun? check which houses they rule!

I also have mars conjunct sun, but if we're going by the modern rulers of each sign, then I'm assed out because Aries is intercepted in my 1st house lol

I don't think Uranus, Neptune and Pluto can be considered as house rulers although they do have their significance when placed in different houses or within aspects. I don't think we should give them house rulers status. That's my opinion though. For me, Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces and Sag, saturn is the ruler of Aquarius and Cap, Mars is the ruler of Scorp and Aries.

however to answer your question, Sun is short of one planet of being the grand dispositor in my chart except the moon which is an independent dispositor of herself. Sun conjunct mercury, saturn. Mercury rules H6 and H9. Saturn rules H1 and H2.

^Hm, but Jessica, what if the Sun and Moon were domicile in both Leo and Cancer? Akin to active/passive rulerships shared between other planets?

Any who, I only have Jupiter conjunct Sun, and Jupiter rules my H5. One more Leo influence I guess...

Since my Ascendant is in Aries my houses are normal so I don't have an interesting conjunction happening. Sun/Jupiter in the 1st, Jupiter ruling my 9th/12th and Sun ruling my 5th.

I think I am definitely Sagittarius and Pisces influenced. Dancing is something I do every single day. I also philosophize every day and continually add to my evolving beliefs. It's how I feel I am unique.

I would also like to hear about weird Sun/House ruler conjunctions!

The moon doesn't share rulership in my case. She is independent.

House rulers conjunct sun can mean the events of whichever house are made prominent throughout life.

1st house ruler conjunct sun:
Someone who is very interested in themselves. Others may notice such an individual puts themselves first and they are very keen to look out for their own interests. Could be accused of selfishness or being self centered. Could have a large ego.

2nd house ruler conjunct sun:
Money and possessions are very important. The focus is on food, comfort, furnishings, somewhat lavish lifestyle. Appearance matters. Epicurean type existence. Creature comforts. Staying in one place forever. The mother and her family.

3rd house ruler conjunct sun:
Words, communication, letters, talking, telling. They have a strong need to express themselves with words and like to talk to people. Their lives could revolve around their speaking skills. Neighborhood people.

4th house ruler conjunct sun:
Whether they like it or not, depending on the cusp sign, they either love their homes or feel burdened by them. Family matters and home take priority. Could be someone who has a lot of experience with real estate or estates in general. Land ownership.

5th house ruler conjunct sun
Depending on the sign, they like to have fun and do not handle stodgy, boring scenes. Lots of time and energy spent on frivolity and amusements. Life is not meant to be taken too seriously. Could have a lot of opportunity to go before people on a stage or some other kind of popularity, like a singer or performer of some kind.

6th house ruler conjunct sun
They will be very busy and will keep that way. They just always have something to do with their time. Non stop. People who have chronic health problems and conditions. Drugs.

7th house ruler conjunct sun:
The ultimate people person.

8th house ruler conjunct sun:
This is someone who could be very good at acquiring materials of all kinds. They might be very shrewd at management. They might have a large family once married. They could take responsibility for other people's belongings. There might be a banker type ability at a young age. People might say they will grow up to be a loan shark or something.
Taxation.

9th house ruler conjunct sun:
Spending a lot of time in churches or religious cults. Studying a lot. Good fortune and luck. Lots of time spent in places far from birth. Traveling. Boarding school.

MC ruler conjunct sun:
Could be destined to a public life of some kind. Much success and definite rise in life connected to the career. Public existence. Being well known, for better or worse. Father's family prominent and their destiny could be tied to them. Father is very important in their life.

11th house ruler conjunct the sun could be someone who spends a lot of time in a large group of people. Such a person will most likely be happy most of the time and easy to get along with. They might like to throw huge parties, might be involved in conventions in some way, where they plan and organize. Administrative duties are a possibility.

12th house ruler conjunct sun would mean the sun is a bit weaker than, let's say ruler of the AC or MC conjunct sun.

It could be interpreted in many different ways. One person could experience bittersweet success while another the worst luck (check 7th house, MC, and their rulers.) It could be someone who spends a lot of time in a hospital, institution of some kind, prison, or a person who relies on charity for their existence, or the welfare state. An orphan raised in an orphanage.
They might even have a bad disposition, be in a bad mood a great deal of their life, experience emotional problems, depression.

Lmfao! Yah, I could tell, but I just wanted to throw that out there! I swear!! I like to think how the different rulerships work out...maybe it makes more sense if looked at as ruled by the other planet. Like with me! Instead of Pluto, what if my Scorpio planets were disposited by passive ruler Mars! Makes more sense about me!

But than again, maybe that's not a good example because you use traditional rulership any ways.

Sixth house rules medicine and I just listed possibilities, doesn't mean everyone with sixth house ruler conjunct sun will experience everything on the list. It just emphasizes what the house rules.

Some of it can be modified, depending on the house ruler. Like, for instance, Saturn can definitely modify the activity of the house it rules. If it rules the seventh and conjunct the sun, could mean the person doesn't really like relationships, doesn't get joy from them, experiences a lot of time alone, has a lot of responsibilities that revolve around other people.
It can mean any of these but not necessarily all of them.
Generally, with the seventh house, the emphasis is on other people, while the first house is on the self. It's the axis of ascendant (Aries) and Descendant (Libra.)
Yourself v. other people.

The ruler of my DSC is Moon, the ruler of my DSC is conjunct DSC. I express myself better with other people even though I'm such an introvert.

I have Sun conjunct Mercury and Venus in 2nd house. Mercury is ruler of my 1st and 10th, Venus is ruler of my 2nd and 9th. 4 houses really prominent in my life, i guess.

I would also call prominent my 11th, though, it's my favorite from all my houses.

Cancer can be introverted but they can also be very good at comforting people and are sympathetic listeners although a lot of times, they like for people to listen to their problems more than they want to listen. It's another sign that can put people at ease by inquiring after them, making them feel like they are cared about. That's a water sign specialty.
Cancer in particular can take it very personally if they are upset and no one is there for them. Are you kinda like this? Every Cancer sun I have ever known is.

Interesting.

Do you have supporting evidence for this??

re: my 3rd house.

Scorpio/Sagittarius
Moon in Sagittarius
Pluto in Libra
Mars in Taurus
Third house people - siblings & cousins

Like most people I have siblings & cousins from all signs & both genders. The person who shaped me the most growing up was a Libra-Taurus female cousin. All the female cousins around my age turned out to be Libra (Libra-Pisces, Libra-Taurus, Libra-Leo). The male sibling I have the best relationship with is a Scorpio-Libra. The male cousin is a Libra-Moon unknown. True, I have an extended family, but these were the most relatable.

Yes, indeed, I use traditional rulership. I don't give rulership status to Uranus,Neptune and Pluto. However, I was talking about the ''ultimate'' or ''grand'' dispositor of a natal chart.

Evidence to support that neptune, uranus and pluto aren't rulers? No. I don't.

Do you have supporting evidence that they are rulers of the signs Pisces,Aquarius and Scorpio respectively?
