My dad has:
Sun in Capricorn
Mercury in Capricorn
Venus in Capricorn
Mars in Virgo
Jupiter in Taurus
Uranus in Virgo
Pluto in Virgo

A lot of Earth does seem to create a skeptic in some cases. My dad believes only in science. He thinks everything related to spirituality and religion as well as astrology is complete nonsense, which means I don't have his accurate birth time. Out of the placements listed here, my dad could have a Taurus Moon as well. However, without his feedback, it will never be possible for me to determine his true Moon sign or his houses.

In my case, my chart is heavily dominated by the Earth element, but I have less personal planets in the Earth element. So, when it comes to being Earth dominant, maybe it matters how many of your personal planets are in Earth signs.

Edit: Never mind. What I said earlier in this post isn't necessarily true. I now believe that maybe it isn't possible to find this information in an astrology chart.

I don't think one can tell via birthchart

But I do know that ALL of us go through Neptune transits that bring on wipeouts. A point where we reach out for direction/answers from beyond "rational" understanding to intuitive insight.

It could be someone passing on inexplicably, a disappearance of someone close, an illness that won't heal etc.

In these instances, most people reach out to psychics astrology, mediums , shamans, religion etc. Because they become open to that. "Realistic" answers just won't do.

I know of someone who didn't care for astrology but once I told him about his Moon sign and that of his spouse. He got interested.

But that may have also been because i delved deeper to aspects to the Moon. I mentioned things that hit home for him. And it was more than his Sum sign

I think most people don't like pop astrology. Just like one may be averse to bible thumpers.

I don't think placements would show this exactly BUT a strong Uranus would indicate an open mind and Astrology does need this.

lol I thought it would be a debate about not believing in astrology, but that again you're asking about people's chart... Astrology gets people obsessed with it... lol

I don't know, I think it's maybe Virgo, and often Saturn in Sagittarius people (Saturn : limits, logical, realistic) and Sagittarius : beliefs... And I've noticed that people who have Saturn in Sagittarius don't believe in many things often. Or they don't believe in anything. And they don't want to, they're really not interested in beliefs and don't even ask themselves questions about life after death or God or things... They're really close-minded to all of that. But they believe in God if they were born in a religious country. I know many of people on this forum were born about in 1987-1988 and so they have Saturn in Sagittarius, but I mean often people I meet who don't believe in it, I meet them on websites were I could meet any kind of person (those who believe, those who don't...)

People who believe in things are often Scorpio or Cancer, Aquarius maybe, Venus in Pisces for faith and sometimes beliefs... Jupiter in Pisces also, and those have believer parents...
Sun in good aspect to Neptune also...
people who don't believe or don't really believe have Sun in bad aspect to Neptune and unbeliever parents at the same time, Saturn in Sagittarius, Sun in Virgo

Seriously ?? He has more earth planets than me ! I didn't know this could be possible...
I used to be skeptic, but never atheist, and as I'm Pisces and Sun in 8th house I've always been interested in life after death, some beliefs, fascinated by this, even when I didn't believe in all of this. But astrology, I don't know what I was thinking in all of this before believing... Maybe I didn't believe in it at all... But earth creates also some good sens, realism, logic, stability.

http://www.oxfordastrologer.com/2011/04/why-pallas-athene-is-the-astrologers-asteroi d.html

Interesting question. Maybe it’s to do with the lack of placements that could give an interest in Astrology?

In this article it seems Pallas is prominent along with personal planets and Aquarius.

I have Pallas quintile my sun in Libra and square my Uranus. I use zero degrees for quintiles and biquintiles.

I’ve found that the only people interested in Astrology in my small circle have been Aquarian suns (2 people in my whole life). I don’t have accurate birth time data for many people but the ones I do don’t have any Pallas aspects that match the criteria above except one.

This individual has Pallas
* conjunct descendant (opposite ascendant in Aquarius)
* quintile Uranus
* biquintile Sun in 11th house
Also
* trining Chiron
* sextile their North node

But I messaged them their birth chart and I explained what astrology involved and thought they would be good at interpreting charts but they didn’t seem overly interested so I left it at that.

I realise this is flipping the original question of the original post but it would be interesting to know if Pallas is prominent in the charts of people here on this thread? As well as lacking significant contact in charts of those who are skeptical?

Something happened to me today that me think about this thread!

So in all my 30-something years, no man has ever once asked me for my sun sign.

I'm on a load of dating sites at the moment and one asked me yesterday what my sun sign was. I told him and said that I guess I'm an amateur astrologer and he said 'well I like to follow my stars as I'm a typical Virgo'. Needless to say, was surprising!

(We're planning to meet up to discuss his chart over a coffee!)

Sounds good, Stellia

Thought I'd bump this thread with a note that there is probably a high degree of correlation between atheism and disbelief in astrology. They're not exact equivalents, of course, but atheists are typically materialists that eschew anything described as spiritual.

I linked the search of ADB charts with the term "atheism" in WhiteMoon's thread inquiring about atheism aspects.

Here it is:

I prayed long and hard before I studied Astrology. I would happily give it up if I did not think I was following God's will.

I have led many people to Jesus through my website.

It is why I do Astrology. I do enjoy it but I have little ego in it and I don't need money from it.

I have a million interests and would give it up tomorrow if I thought God was unhappy with it.

Astrology is a SCIENCE. It is a science of the electromagnetic energy of the universe impinging on the human being.

I have the exact same positions listed as your friend! However, I believe that astrology explains many dynamics. I would probably have ignored astrology if my older Aquarian sister had not taken the time to explain it to me in detail enough for me to look further into it. With religion I consider myself agnostic. I get bored with religion and find it lacking any credibility but don’t care if others find it useful for themselves.

Ok. My moon isn’t in Scorpio but everything else sounds the same.
