Just wondering if there are indicators as to who might develop anorexia. I'm still struggling with it at and my guess is Saturn square ascendant might have something to do with it :/

I remember reading something about Sun semisquare Venus. It makes someone sensitive to judgement about their appearance, with a negative opinion of their body. Probably more related to body dysmorphic disorder.

I have Sun semisquare Venus (orb 0°00').
I guess all aspects that make person insecure should be taken in account.

I once heard hard aspects between Vesta and Chiron could lead to eating disorders. Many examples were listed on that site but I have that as well (though a wide orb) and never had eating disorders...

I have saturn trine ascendant and I used to be extremely anorexic. I still can't eat anything past 2 sometimes even 3 pm and only eat 2 meals a day. I know very bad but compared to how I used to be it's all okay with me. Maybe it's all in Saturn.

My understanding is that anorexia is a combination of perfectionism and also a person who feels they can't control the environment around themselves. So as a result, they seek something that they can control, that is themselves and their weight.

So, I'd say perfectionism might have something to do with Virgo or Saturn. While control is something fixed in sign or Saturn (putting up structures, authority) and on oneself (energies directed inward) might be something to do with retrograde planet and maybe 4th house - the most private part of the chart or the 1st - the body.

6th house.

Maybe moon and venus?

My mom has moon/neptune in the 6th and sometimes I think she has a borderline eating disorder but who knows with her..
I think she's smart and wise enough not to let it effect her health..

She has Venus square saturn so that probably does make her very very conscious about her body image.
