I'm talking about 'oh my day was crap I flunked that test'. Like I said yeah it might annoy others but frankly annoying someone for five minutes isn't going to kill them the way it would if you try to handle your frustration by getting hammered in a bar and then trying to drive yourself home.

and everybody can talk about positive coping mechanisms all day but we all know that most people dont do that. they go home and kick the dog or hit their wife or drink too much or cyber bully some person or go self-injure or puke up their food or scream at a loved one for no reason and on and on. Frankly, I'd rather be annoyed by someone whining at me for a few minutes (or be the one doing it myself) than suppress that energy and have it come out in a far more destructive way, either to myself or others. So in that sense? I think that whining is actually far less self-absorbed than letting yourself get to a rapid boil and then when you get cut off in traffic, hop out of your car and blow the other driver's head off.

Cancer placements wouldn't surprise me, the two Cancers I know real well can get upset real easy if their views are challenged in even the most trivial way so that I've learned to be very careful in making a contrary statement around them (though they're usually nice and supportive). I have to be careful of the feelings of a Cancer moon, too (who coincidentally is the one I mentioned in this thread who complains and drinks a lot, not that such is constant).

But being a troll is another possibility. If so then he's a sneaky one that tries to catch you unaware.

I was just surprised after a recent post by the same person saying how it takes a lot to get people as himself to be nasty and "vomiting their emotions."

Oh, I forgot: I think my jupiter in 12th gives me a lot of optimism. I know some persons that complain often about life and from the top of my head I remember 4:

1 : Virgo sun, pisces moon, gemini rising

I can get all depressed sometimes and complain a lot, but mostly I focus on the bright side, and if I want to complain I keep it inside I feel very much like my jupiter opposition saturn, most of the time I'm like over 70% I'm happy, but then there is just somedays that are like 100% saturn and depressed

Lol perfect lives? You must think we all live in Disneyland 24/7...unfortunately I am not one of those people. I have my fair share of problems in life, but try to focus on getting better.

It's not about having a perfect life, it's how you choose to handle the situations life brings to you.

When I was young I had the opportunity through one of my mother's friends to see what happens to people who are negative and do nothing to help themselves but complain and expect others to fix their problems. Every other thing out of her mouth was always a complaint about her life in some way or another how something wasn't fair. I decided a long time ago I would never be that person because I fully believe what you project in life is what life gives you.

I'm joyous about my life no matter my circumstances because even if it's "bad," appreciating what you have will only bring you more things to appreciate.

--Thank you for the well wishes, I appreciate it. I'm not asking for a perfect life but I would appreciate a more stable one. After I complain I always turn my thoughts positive because I know being negative doesn't help. I do try very actively to improve my situation as well. In some ways I have been very lucky, its just very frustrating to try so hard and make very little progress. I will never give up though, I'm too stubborn for that. lol

I also know that no matter how I feel in the moment, It is only that, a moment; and a while later I'll have forgotten it and moved on! Life is too awesome to be dragged down by negativity. I say let's play and have fun!!

Everyone complains - it's all about how often. I will complain for a short while, vent it out (or pray it out) of my system. Then I'm done! If people are bringing me down, I cut 'em loose. I don't have the time and/or desire to live my life depressed! Hell no.

I typically focus on all the *GOOD* in my life each day, which helps immensely with my life outlook. I'm here to live my life to the full until I'm bursting with JOY.
