To tell you the truth, I don't.Only when I am doing a drama to amuse my children. If I look to the "bad" things that happen to me; then I try to see what the results of this were, I am often amused by the perspective I derive from this act. Truly it is an ill wind that blows nobody any good. IP: Logged |

Very rarely (though I used to gripe about the injustices of the world a lot more when I was younger). However, some say I'm quite cynical (and yet when I'm proven wrong it's almost always because I wasn't cynical enough), but being cynical shouldn't be confused with complaining. Mark Twain was cynical, too, but he tended to laugh it off like I do.Libra sun, Sag moon. IP: Logged |

Too many jupiter squares to complain lol. I find it strange when people complain about their day. Even if I have a bad day I come home and forget all about it. I usually leave all my drama before I walk out the front door.IP: Logged |

You can't drown it out either because complainers usually make sure your listening by asking RIGHT? -_____-I usually try to reason with complainers and tell them... hey relaxxxxx please sit the **** down and enjoy yourself LOL... Leave work issues at work lol.. I don't get them, it's so weird to me. IP: Logged |

Virgo Sun, Gemini MoonDon't let me get started. This world has many flaws which need to be addressed. Whether they can do anything about it or not. No one should ignore it. Although things will be better if you do, but not for non-laidback people like myself. When I look at the good side, bad things happen, when I look at the bad side, good things happen. I think it has more to do with logic, rather than phenomenon. IP: Logged |

What do you mean by "life? Do you mean your personal life, the nature of life and the world?I am philosophical and cynical about life and other people. Life is not fair but I have lived enough to know that it can't be changed and it accept as it Is doing the best I can. However, as for my actual life, yeah I complain a lot. I know I am lucky and I have done well so far but I haven't done well in other parts and my life is really hard at the moment so I am frustrated and complain or at least talk about it to others. When life is easier I enjoy it and don't complain. Then after the complaints, I step back and think of how bad life could be and it really is not that bad I realise. IP: Logged |

Yeah, exactly. That's what I was referring to. I always try to talk and reason about solutions. When you complain, you are pointing out something that isn't accepting to you. Which can be a flaw. You can be dissatisfied with flaws. "Complaining", shouldn't always be perceived by the way you put it. IP: Logged |

Directly proportionate to how my life is going. If it's mostly good, I seldom complain. If it's not so good - I ***** and moan all the damn time. Mercury in Leo - I speak from the heart, whatever I'm feeling is what comes out. I don't trust people who don't whine. Everybody feels negative emotions and has things about their lives that bother them. If they aren't openly whining about it periodically that means it's coming out in other ways - whether taking it out on other people, or going in the bathroom and cutting themselves, or drinking constantly or getting high constantly, etc. At the end of the day whining isn't a trait that other ppl particularly like being on the receiving end of, but frankly it's more healthy than the alternative ways of processing your negative emotions/feelings/energy. Alternately, it means we've developed good coping skills. For example, I have a room I keep to myself that I can retreat to when I must and I get a lot of exercise and make use of a sauna that helps get out a lot of stress chemicals in me. I suppose it helps that I wasn't raised with a sense of entitlement. My partner, OTOH, whines a lot. And she drinks more than I think is healthy, too. It's not to say I never whine but it's very rare...and usually with some wry humor in there somewhere, or some philosophical shrug. IP: Logged |

Call it whatever you want.
I call it not overdosing and winding up on a stretcher in a hospital because I didn't want to be "rude" and complain about my day. And let's be real here, the vast majority of people do NOT have healthy "coping skills" and that negative energy has to go somewhere. So if they aren't whining, they're doing something either to themselves or other people to try and exorcise that stuff. Now, you can try and bs about it all you like - which is exactly what I expect from someone who named themselves "Pixie Jane". Tell Mary Poppins I said, wuzzzuupppp! IP: Logged |
