I don't want to turn this thread into "cappy's theory, part 100" but I can tell you in short how I see it. I think each soul is an induvidualized energy of The Source gifted with free will and clothed in bodies. The lower dimension it occupies, the more layers it has. It stores memories and is eternal but perhaps reabsorbtion (probably voluntary) is an option. Why did the Source divide itself? I suppose mainly in order to experience something beside itself.------------------

I said I am still searching for true spirituality, I don't reject the supernatural. My beef is with religious dogma and shoving it down our throats without consent, and the mass manipulation that truly is christianity. I have yet to come across a free thinker that doesn't doubt. I do believe in souls, in karma and reincarnation. I am not sure yet what this makes me. My spiritual world has to include symmetry/pattern and universal justice. I suppose what I believe in is similar to your beliefs except I don't call it the source, though I guess that's what it is. For me, that is the collective super-consciousness and I sometimes refer to it as the Universe. I also nurture a scenario similar to the movie Avatar, in which we exist in two or several planes at the same time and that Earth is probably where we go when we dream or something. I don't want to marry in the church/have a religious ceremony. I know many non believers still do, because of family and friends' pressure. But I am having that Uranus transit, I can handle going against the grain. I know my family will probably flip out, his family most likely too. I also don't want to baptize my kids. If they grow up and decide they want to be christians, they can do it themselves. But I will not force them to become slaves to an obsolete religion. ------------------

Religion is pure. But the people behind it aren't. Information is skewed to make people not pro that particular religion as "evil". They love doing that. It does affect how you view and use astrology.When you lose the ability to question against it, you are but a sad soul. If you did, and found your own spirituality, I am happy for you. IP: Logged |
