My sister has Venus in Aries conjunct Jupiter and her North node.I think you should check the whole chart as this planetary placement is not singularly suggestive of the eternal bachelor/bachelorette My sister has this conjunction in 8th; not such a great place for Venus and Jupiter to be in because it is in the house of detective work(8th). Often people with Venus in 8th are suspicious of people they attract or the people they are drawn to have secrets and hard to read characters. Jupiter in eighth suggests a student who learns of all things associated with the house of detective work(8th). My sister definitely is knowledgeable of all things taboo and she prefers watching detective shows and ghost tales etc. Venus conjunct Jupiter may have many suitors but may also prefer their own personal freedom to the trapping of marriage. Also, when in the 8th, it is often the case that to their would be suitors, they may seem "unavailable" as this is the nature of the 8th house; it is a house that does not like to be seen. I often joke that if she eventually does tie the knot, it'll likely be in secret or she may marry someone of a very secretive disposition who hides things from her. IP: Logged |

^ Interesting. I didn't know that about Jupiter in 8th, which I also have (in Pisces). It's loosely conjunct my Aries Venus in 9th.

What is your Venus aspected like Again? I relate to this a lot lot lot. I wondered if at any point you exhaust yourself and then start resenting your partner because you feel like you're doing all the work to keep it afloat. Me I have Venus in.the 11, square Saturn abd Neptune, but conjunct Sun and Mercury, and semi square Jupiter in the 12. Oh also sextile Mars and my Gemini ASC

quote: Originally posted by AriesLilith: That square is probably what shows the lack of stability. Uranus/Neptune square Venus can show a very idealistic view, plus strong need for excitement, that might not match with reality. Too much idealism can point to disappointment when one realizes that the other person is not what he/she expected. Maybe deep inside, you are insecure, associating the lack of matching to your expectations to the other person not being the right one for you. We are often brainwashed by society and media that love has to be crazy passionate that if a relationship doesn't fit these expectations, then this relationship must be wrong, instead of seeing relationships with realism. Also, sometimes being disappointed can create resentments and anger, which can justify why you can sometimes end up seeing a potential lover you used to admire as enemy. Another possibility thought, is overlooking the flaws and red flags at the beginning, when you are too infatuated, which can make you drop off your guard and accept relationships that might not meet the minimum standards you need, which can later become more obvious. The key to solve this is to understand why you have the expectations you have. Then understand where they are not realistic and try to be more compassionate and acknowledge the other person, instead of expecting too much too soon.
Hmmmmmmm... well, the last girl I left told me many times that I "overthink too much". I don't know what she meant by that, but she probably meant that I made a big deal out of very small situations, probably because of my enormously idealistically invasive ego. Actually, ALL the relationships I had, from the tiniest ones to biggest ones all had my peers commenting one thing: I overdramatize everything. Indeed, instead of simply accepting those that I appreciate for whom they are, I inevitably grow "protective", point out to them the flaws I see in them, and demand changes which I consider necessary for the relationship to be maintained and grow. So the aspects that you described seem to be very correct ! IP: Logged |

Interesting ! Well, now I'm looking in deeper to my Venus aspects with the houses and... So apparently I forgot to add that my Venus is on the 10th house, meaning it is conjunct to my MC/Midheaven (which I currently have no of clue what that means lol). Here's a table of my chart just in case. http://www.astro.com/tmpd/cdewfileKixWnV-u1386483913/astro_w2at_01_kevin_bail le_hp.67468.2894.pdf IP: Logged |

I have venus in Fire element( Leo) square uranus in scorpio few degree, and more over my uranus is exact conjunct Mars too , so venus is also square mars , venus trine neptune . Till now is about 6 years that I've been with the Aries venus with Aqua stellium (AC/mercury/mars) , we've met when we both developed enough to be together and both of us try very hard to live with one another. I think in my case a big part that could help is Saturn , the old glue of any relationship . Are you synastry of your last relationship(s) , has enough saturn to each other' personal planets? Btw, good to know the Thai 's Fellow here
I'm not exactly Thai I just live in there My dad's French and my mother from Easter Island, if that's to make it even more exotic lol... Cheers ! Unfortunately, I haven't anything I can add about the Saturn synatry aspects of my past relationships. I thought that observing Venus would be the only necessity but apparently I have to look at everything ! IP: Logged |

No matter how much I admire a potential lover, I can leave in a flash, considering my other half as a newborn enemy :SIs this really a Venus Aries thing ?
Venus...in Aries pretty much tells on itself. You love (Venus) things of a martian (Aries) nature. You guys like a lot of intensity and combativeness and feistiness in your partner and/or relationship. And if things are too placid, you'll do some destructive crap to stir things up and get things heated like you like them. You guys are pretty much always going to be bored with a placid, gentle partner and/or relationship. That's just...fact, unless there's other stuff in the chart to mitigate that, like an OVERWHELMING amount of Piscean energy or something - we're talking, stellium. IP: Logged |

Venus is the planet of values, ethics and security. When its situated in the house of reputation and public image(10th), it denotes morals and personal integrity are pivotal to the individual. They are lifelong aspirations. The sign of Venus and the aspects therein will show what one values and considers pivotal. In the sign of Aries, it may denote someone who values personal independence and being on the "drivers" seat of their life. Venus in 10th is basically someone who sticks to their guns and knows their worth. You may attract those who love your "no nonsense" approach or be attracted to those who have a balanced self-esteem. Venus in 10th doesn't necessarily mean you won't get married, but it does suggest a very high self esteem and one who will not settle for someone who doesn't have the same. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in the 6th, square Uranus & Neptune. I do alot of times feel like I'm the only one trying to make it work. And bc mines is in the 6th i think it makes me more giving without expecting anything in return.. Which is a setup for failure! lol IP: Logged |

I'm a Venus in Aries in the 7th house. Also, Venus in Aries trines my Sagittarian Lilith and sextiles my Aquarian moon.I feel like I always have too much going on romantically, like my love life is always complicated and I always feel the need to explain myself. I have no problem attracting partners, and keeping them around isn't difficult either; the problem is that I rarely want to get very deep. I tend to nip commitment in the bud before he ever has a chance to ask me to be his girlfriend. I've only ever once been completely and totally in love with someone enough to be his girlfriend, and it took two years of being in love with him before I finally agreed. I like to date multiple people at once, and though I don't often sleep with more than one person at a time, I like to feel free to move and in most circumstances would be very unhappy if I felt like I was tied to a single person. All my feminine planets have restless, independence-loving, masculine signs. My girlfriends think I'm super successful in love and romance, and usually turn to me for advice on how to seduce guys. Men, however, generally describe me as "trouble." IP: Logged |

I have been thinking of my friend with Aries Venus lately. She started a long distance relationship a little after I met my fiance. They met in person of course and visit each other when they can. I remember she mentioned something about him not getting an inheritance if he marries too young. But my friend is 7 years older than me. So that has got to be hard. I haven't been able to catch up with her since last summer. :'( I only know so much and hope it is going well. IP: Logged |
